My best hope is Rand Paul to get elected and start appointing people like Andrew Napolitano, Scott Walker, Trey Gowdy, and his father to various roles within the admin.

From her official announcement:
She's fought children and families all her career

And also directed supporters to a non-working youtube channel. Guess she wanted to one-up Rand

I guess my issue with Keystone is that they are building pipelines to send to oil refineries in the Gulf Region. Why not build new refineries in the Midwest and kill 2 birds with one stone. Increase refining capacity in the US and limit the amount of transport and pipelines that have to be built.

Oh... but the reason for wanting to build the pipelines to the Gulf isn't just because that is where the refineries are. It is also because that is where the port facilities are. In essence, this is really about exporting oil from the Midwest and Canada to larger markets overseas (China). That is why the alternative plan of Keystone is to build rail and pipeline infrastructure over the Canadian Rockies to Vancouver.

You are partially correct. It's also about supplying the east coast refineries with North American crude instead of Brent. This is the reason Obama has blocked the pipeline.

it really doesn't matter at this point. our spending will never be reigned in. Americans love handouts. Hillary will become elected, she'll continue dividing Americans based on gender and race.

she's going to play the gender card every speech (just as Obama played the race card). her press friends will accuse the GOP in every written article or news report that they are attacking Hillary because she's a woman. the gop runner will constantly have to answer to these false charges and they'll not be able to given their plan for America.

Americans were ignorant enough to elect Obama twice and they'll elect Hillary. she'll no doubt be the last nail in the coffin in America's demise. the middle class will continue to suffer more financially and her only answer will be to tax the rich more. This doesn't help the majority of Americans.

Since when are you against spending?

Oh wait, you're only talking about spending that goes to help an individual. You're part of the problem

do you really think the government spending truly helps individuals?

what do you think help an individual? a decent job and paying low taxes or no job and collecting a little welfare?

government spending that "help" individuals is truly a myth.

So is govt spending on "defense" yet I doubt you've voted for anyone running on that platform. Wasted money is wasted money. Where it goes should be irrelevant to someone truly in favor of smaller govt

I agree that wasting money is wasting money, whether its' defense or otherwise. there needs to be accountability, but our fed gov job is to defend America, not provide I-phones to the world.

Good then focus on defense. That should be one of the first targets for small govt fans yet they continue to scream about free phones. Wonder why that is

the waste in defense spending is much less than the waste in social program. there is no comparison. i'd rather focus on getting rid of the elephant 1st then worry about the mouse.

it doesn't matter though, if Rand Paul or his dad did became president.

the reform our country needs will be to hard for the majority of Americans to stomach.

America's great days are behind us. our kids and grandkids will never see the greatness of what America used to be.

Based on what numbers?

How much has the war in Iraq wasted?

Are you totally insane?

a social program itself is a waste of money. it's redundant to say social programs have waste within the program, when the program itself is a complete waste.

I do believe there is much more total waste within social programs than there are in waste in defense spending.

I agree that both need to be reigned in, but like I said we're way beyond the point of no return.

United States Federal Spending Pie Chart for 2015 - Charts

I pulled this up. this is at the federal level for 2015 estimated budget. defense spending at 22% and welfare and healthcare combined is 37% of the budget. i think government healthcare is a form of welfare.

You simply found some chart in a Google search. So what exactly is being eliminated and how much will it save? What is included in the "welfare" bucket?

The point is, we go way past "defending our country" with military spending.

Spend $$$$$$ on helping kids eat - or a new fighter jet we don't need? I think the answer is easy.

Which isn't to say there isn't a ton of waste in our social programs, there obviously is.

I'd rather spend money teaching people not to have kids they can't feed.
