FL has been pingponging back and forth on 538 for the last 2 days.

They have IN going R in the Senate now - looks like Bayh mailing it in is coming back to bite them.

Chance Clinton wins a state Romney won 2012 = 66%
Chance Trump wins a state Obama won 2012 = 87%

Interesting shifts in the electorate, looks like both will get at least one pickup and one loss.

I didn't say the race hadn't tightened. It always does right before election day. I said the increase in support/ decrease in support is coming from the bases of the party. People are not swinging between the candidates at this point.

I think both parties would mostly balk at his proposals. Pretty clear they largely dislike him. They could easily just drag their feet on anything he wants done.

Instead of the usual president and party vs the other party, I think it will just be 3 separate entities. President vs republicans vs democrats.

Way too idealistic.

The theory here is that Trump really is anti establishment, that he really would be some kind of check on the usual pattern of pork spending, even by GOPers.


Bulkshiite.

He would immediately tow the party line on all the usual crap. While he has loyalties to no one, he is desperate for approval, to be an insider, to be accepted by the powerful.

You are delusional if you really believe he'll be that different on spending.

That ***** and her campaign are actively attempting to drive us into conflict with Russia. For all this talk of how unstable Trump would be and how he might "anger" foreign leaders, the press certainly isn't looking at the right person.

We're going to have to agree to disagree. The whole Russian angle is a throwback to the Big Red Menace of the 50s where the Soviets were the great boogeyman waiting to destroy the U.S. from within. It's nothing more than a red herring designed to, as I stated in another post, cast the microscope away from her many wrongdoings and try to create fake outrage.

And Putin is selling the same fear within Russia. They both want another Cold War because a scared populace is easier to control and fleece and that is their and their partners goal.
