2016 Election Thread Part Deux

His actions and comments about AAs? Name a few please.

The New Jersey Casino Control Commission fined the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino $200,000 in 1992 because managers would remove African-American card dealers at the request of a certain big-spending gambler.

“I think the guy is lazy,” Trump said of a black employee, according to O’Donnell. “And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.”

Trump has also faced charges of reneging on commitments to hire black people. In 1996, 20 African Americans in Indiana sued Trump for failing to honor a promise to hire mostly minority workers for a riverboat casino on Lake Michigan.

Donald Trump has stood by his decades-old claim that the group of five men blamed for a 1989 rape and beating of a white woman in Central Park before being exonerated were actually guilty. "They admitted they were guilty," Trump said. "The police doing the original investigation say they were guilty. The fact that that case was settled with so much evidence against them is outrageous. And the woman, so badly injured, will never be the same."
(The five men, who became known as the Central Park Five, were exonerated in 2002 when DNA evidence proved that they had not committed the crime.)

“You go into the inner cities and you see it's 45 percent poverty, African Americans now 45 percent poverty in the inner cities.”

The poverty rate among black residents of metropolitan areas at 26 percent.

'They struggle to get by on food stamps. That they see nothing but failure around them."

Only about one out of every four households receiving food stamps in 2014 was black.

You are offended from remarks he made over 20 years ago and remarks that for the most part are true?

You must be terribly offended by the way white democrats talk down to black people like they can't fend for themselves and need their help.

As I've stated, I think we're screwed no matter what with whomever is elected.

Having said that to say this, if Trump wins, I think the meltdown of the following posters is going to be so epic it will be enshrined in VN PF lore for years to come:

Carlos86
VolProf
ClearWaterVol
and Vol8188

Not adding in LG because he wouldn't give us the satisfaction and he gets free posting material for at least four years.

It's worth whatever damage Trump does over the next four years just for this.

Half those comments were made last week.

And close to being accurate.

A google search turned up with Kaine and Obama both being there on the 28th. Kaine had 2 rallies they canceled 1.

That's the only thing keeping the campaign going is for others to show up with them...they are so disliked so they have to depend on surrogates

I would pay good money to see their dreams shattered by a Trump win. I'd probably go 4 figures to watch the meltdown in person. If Trump looks like he's winning, I'll have to switch to MSNBC and CNN to catch their crying act.

Trump isn't serious about solving problems in the African American community and his actions and comments have proved that. Rand Paul has spoken at Howard Universty. If the nominee were Paul or Rubio those two would be welcomed. Trump has dug a hole that he will never ever be able to dig out of.

Clearly Hillary isn't serious about solving inner city problems either. If she was she would've addressed the problems the last 20-30 years she's held a powerful position. All she cares about is the inner city vote.. She and the rest of the Democratic Party are the billboard for broken promises. Get your head out of your ass!

I just don't see a pathway to a Trump victory. Colorado, Virginia, and Penn are voting HRC, and I don't think anything can be done about it by this point. I have some hope for Pennsylvania because of the working class there, but it's a long shot.

So the same thing Trump has done for the last 30 years.

Question, do you fault the Democratic Party for anything? You are so far up their asses, how do you login to VN everyday?

Both parties have serious issues, and this election is gonna be a roller coaster ride with no seatbelt, so hang the Fk on Karlos.

I blame the Dems for a lot of the things and issues with the country. But I'm a registered Republican and I acknowledge the fact that my party has problems that it refuses to correct. And until the Republicans confront their failure to correctly address issues with the country and figure out how to include others in the party it will not win elections and it will fade away.

How do they do that?

GOP in good shape to keep the house
Solid Seats: 200 Rep, 177 Dem
Likely/Lean Seats: 25 Rep, 8 Dem
Toss Up or Worse: 22 Rep, 3 Dem
See the map

...the only blue places in the whole country are the urban areas..and notice who is in control of those cities and how big of a mess they are
