2016 Election Thread Part Deux

I honestly have no idea what he meant. When I first saw it I thought he was talking about the power of 2A supporters to prevent Clinton's election, but in context he's referring to something that would happen after a Clinton victory. I'm sure it was yet another awful "joke" from Trump, but that was really, really stupid.

If he was trying to insert humor there, he completely whiffed at it and has given his opponent more to use against him.

I doubt very seriously he intended for his comments to be construed as a threat, though the DNC will take it that way.

As for bright...I think he's plenty smart. However, has never had to think 15 times before opening his mouth and saying what's on his mind. It's appealing to some (as we saw in the primary season) but disaster on a national stage.

I doubt it was meant as a threat but why make the comment and leave it vague and open for interpretation?

If not intentional it demonstrates a lack of awareness and/or savvy. I don't think the man's an idiot, but in this specific arena he has some challenges.

I agree, but it's Palinesque.

I think you're right. He should have paused and said, get out and vote or show up to the polls. There are way to many nut jobs in the world on both sides who could take something the wrong way... Didn't Hinkley just get out?? Jk

You can tell Trump had said something off the wall by the faces the people the sitting behind him were making. Everytime something bad happens to Hillary, Trump does something to either equalize what she does or says.

There's no reason to cut military spending, all they need to do is get rid of the FWA and free loaders who are just milking a check till they have enough issues for disability.

Am I too late for discussion on this? Are you still around?

It absolutely appalls me at times that some of you idiots served and represented our nation.

I'm just speechless with some of you guys.

When some of you joke about the stupidity of some of your colleagues, I wonder if you're referring to yourselves.

And, once again, having served in the military is not a "Get out of jail" free card. If you're an idiot, then you're an idiot.

Serving our country is not a joke. That doesn't end even after you quit the service. Stop making our servicemen and women look like complete morons.

On a related note, I now graciously await Hog's reprimand of how I'm a wussy who never took an oath, and garble garble goobly goob.

This, this is perfect. This is just perfect.

So you're for the necessary cuts that need to be made, except as they affect you, which is the argument every other user of government funds makes good use of.

But, yes, you are military, and I agree with you that you should get some lead-way, as such.

I wish, however, that you would take some cues from guys like Hog that you don't need to necessarily post asinine bullcrap in order to prove your point.

Current military or not, you should never post a picture of an American president, current or former, like what you did. It makes us all look like a bunch of discontented sissies. But that's just my opinion as an obvious outsider.

How about this one? It's not even photoshopped....

Trump is the biggest moron to run for president in our nation's history. There's times you have to wonder if he would rather be the comedian of the mental ward than president.

Despite all this, he'll still have more than a shot, as that's how bad the idiot the Democrats elected is.

He's got a huge amount of ground to cover to be competitive. I thought after the convention he would have settled down into focusing on policy and going on the attack against Hillary's record. Boy howdy, was I wrong.

I don't know man. Clinton has been equally dumb at best. She's a damn train wreck.

But the dumbest of all... the loud voices in this country. This country has become a daily headache due to ignorance and a soft mental make up from tunnel visioned jackasses.

I bet we are all a laughing stock to aliens watching us from the moon spaceship. (halfway joking🤔).

Side note: if the moon was a giant spaceship with a population underneath the surface, could you imagine being on the camera aimed at Japan when they were nuked? That'd be nuts. Imagine watching ants pull off a similar attack on another ant pile. you'd be like "wtf...?!?!?"

It's hubris with him. He obviously ignores his handlers/advisors. The problem for someone like me is he claims he will surround himself with the best people yet he has shown zero ability to listen to those closest to him.

Good point. Definitely a cause for concern.

In respect to your position and opinion, it's uncalled for regarding your comments to those of us who have served and/or currently active.

It's the political forum, we're not always going to see things the same. I'll just leave it at that.
