2016 Election Thread Part Deux

(WASHINGTON) — An Associated Press review of the official calendar Hillary Clinton kept as secretary of state identified at least 75 meetings with longtime political donors, Clinton Foundation contributors and corporate and other outside interests that were not recorded or omitted the names of those she met.

Only the Voters can hold Crooked Hillary accountable!

Couldn't or wouldn't bother? There's literally no sense in pointing out any accomplishment by anyone you're not told to approve of because you couldn't begin to entertain a notion of objectivity. Right?

The problem with you AV (and many like you) is that you can't help but to conflate someone not liking Trump with liking Hillary. I mean I guess I get it - not having to make a distinction that people might not like either would require effort you're not able to mentally muster.

I pity the black and white world you live in.

Mentally muster? Ahhhahaaahhha. You people must be on welfare and loved the last 8 years. Got you a new Obama phone yet? Time is running out.

New poll from National ABC/Post just released shows Clinton climbing to double-digit lead after Trump +2 last month.

Clinton 51%
Trump 39%

Clinton’s support among male voters jumped by 11 points since May. She’s now tied with Trump at 45 percent .

Two in three Americans say they think Trump is unqualified to lead the nation; are anxious about the idea of him as president; believe his comments about women, minorities and Muslims show an unfair bias; and see his attacks on a federal judge because of his Mexican American heritage as racist.

Fifty-six percent of the public at large say the celebrity business mogul stands against their beliefs, while 64 percent say he does not have the necessary credentials to be president. Fifty-six percent feel strongly that he is unqualified.

Nearly one-third of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents say Trump is flatly unqualified for office, and 18 percent say he does not represent their beliefs, exposing deep fissures in the GOP base as Trump struggles to unite conservatives going into next month’s national convention in Cleveland.

The poll, conducted in the immediate aftermath of a massacre in Orlando that was perpetrated by a man who pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, showed Obama’s approval rating at 56 percent — its highest level in Post polling since May 2011, after the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Clinton's emails were then being routed through a server at her home in New York, and Huma Abedin, a top aide, suggested the then-secretary get an official department email address. Clinton responded by saying, “Let’s get separate address or device but I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible.”

The November 2010 email, which Clinton neglected to turn over to the State Department and The Associated Press first reported, indicates that her emails were at one point being blocked by a spam filter at the department.

If after being shown that Clinton can't manage the simple concept that some information is classified and needs to be treated as such, 61% of a survey believe she is qualified to be president, then it would appear at least 60% of the populace have no business electing even a dog catcher.

Who is you people?

Oh yes, I don't like Trump - I'm clearly a liberal. This is why no one takes you seriously.

Watching you and the like minded mouth breathers struggle with this concept is as sad as it is funny.

The email thing doesn't appear to be working. Maybe the talking heads should give another run at Benghazi.

I think we're witnessing the democratic machine protecting one of their own. You've got a dem pres and a dem appointed head of the DOJ. They're going to cover their rears at all cost.

You and I both know she's guilty as hell.

Hardly anybody wants to speak at Trump's convention - POLITICO

Only three more weeks. Odds are this is going to be a glorious trainwreck.

I'm split on this...

I can understand those that believe Trump to be pure political plutonium and want to avoid him at all costs. I get it, he's not exactly been helpful along the way.

On the other hand, this whole thing reeks of many in the GOP stomping their feet and throwing a tantrum since they didn't get their way this primary cycle. Between the Never-Trump movement and now things like this, I can't for the life of me understand why they would want Hillary to be elected. It's freakin crazy to think they are intentionally trying to tank a candidate when they know this is the most vulnerable the DNC will be.

It's really hard to imagine this happening any other Rep. candidate. It's a damn shame that so many people bought in to Trump and gave him a realistic shot at clinching the nomination. This country needs a good economically conservative president, and Trump has basically crushed any possibility of that for 2016.
