2016 Election Thread Part Deux

I disagree.

He's got things against her that he hasn't revealed yet. He will drop the bombshell on her

The Clinton Campaign and the DNC have more bombshell on Trump then anyone. And the media will happily release it.

Wow lots of angry Dems on Twitter

If Hillary Clinton actually gets the Democratic Nomination, I will understand why most Americans don't vote. I may join them!! #FeelTheBern!

Thank you, America for keeping the Clinton Dynasty going strong! Good luck on any meaningful change. #brandloyalty #SoSad #FeelTheBern

Kasich projected to win Ohio.

What about letting Kasich represent? I think Republicans, Independents and Democrats (who don't like Trump or Hilary) would vote for him.

I think his lack of votes is more that he (admittedly) is not this great debater, and then it was too late when most everyone realized he is a great presidential choice. It would be much better than Romney.

Trump reminds me of George Wallace, let him go away or run Independent. What he is representing is definitely not Republican.

Anyone else laugh when wolf said "they just saw our projection" after kasich supporters started applauding for Kasich's projection but you could see on their screen that they aren't watching cnn and that they are watching Fox News

She as much as said it in the last debate. She also said that she has been picked apart for 25 years, and there is nothing he could do to her that hasn't been done already.

Interesting recent development re: Kasich is that his favorability ratings are now the highest (or a close second, depending on the poll) among both the general electorate and the Republican primary voters.

I've heard she's told people she tried joining the Marines. Hasn't gained any traction but could. Much like the Bosnia sniper story, and being named after Sir Edmund Hilllary, it's a lie.

It's easier to run for office against an opponent that has a 20 closets full of skeletons when all your skeletons have been put out for everyone to see over a 25 year period.

Here's the thing. She has been in the public eye, including a very nasty failed presidential campaign, where all the dirt that could be proven is out and everything else is buried very very deep.

Trump surpasses one million votes mark in Florida.

A Trump+Kasich ticket would stroll into the White House. Trump's lead in FL against 3 other competitors has huge general election implications.

The GOP needs to work with the guy at this point. A brokered convention will be an absolute disaster. Romney is the only guy they have and he has zero following.

The media has buried the majority of it.

The democrats who vote for Hillary aren't that enthusiastic. The ones that are voting for Bernie are. There will be a grudge. Hillary is lucky that she will probably run against trump. Against a moderate republican opponent I can envision seeing Clinton lose. She has no momentum, no spark. But if she were to run against trump, by November she will probably win because everyone will vote simply to make sure trump isn't president. The only momentum she has is running against trump. Which is sad.

I'm just hoping that Trump mentions her bedroom activities as subpar at some point. I'm looking for great tv though

It has to be blown up, then. Banding together around Trump is betraying both principle (even more than they already have) and neutering the party's ability to win elections on a national level.

It is neutered, and they have no principles other than the self-serving ones - that's the problem. We have a welfare state, and the elected Republicans are too cowardly to do anything about it. You either set the platform back to being prosperous - real employment and productivity for CITIZENS, or you sink into third world status. It's time to find someone who doesn't see government normalcy as an expanding mess of programs and bureaucracies with no expiration date.
