2016 Election Thread Part Deux

Well in Georgia and some other states you do.

Edit: I just saw the registration law for Tennessee. It also requires that a person provide their gender. Providing race is optional

How is that okay, but asking for an ID racist?

Reasons why Clinton is up 5 points in Georgia: In Georgia today 91,951 people voted. 31% were African-American, pushing the overall African-American early vote percentage from 19% to 27%

Georgia black turnout on record pace - POLITICO

You know that article is dated 10/26/12. Kinda wondered because I hadn't heard anything about early voting locations etc normally plastered all over the local news; and, yes, I know early voting dates are a function of where you live.

I'm enjoying reading about votes from Four years ago, Carlos.

I knew the Dems were doing shady stuff this election cycle, but bussing people in 4 years early really should be illegal. I know some of you guys are going to say I'm trying to suppress voting rights, but voting 3 years before the primaries smells rigged to me.

Yes I knew. I posted that article because people will ask where we're the indicators of Georgia possibly going blue and that is one right there. But the numbers I posted were accurate. At least 2 Million people have voted in the 2016 election as of today.

Kind of funny I hear on the radio this week that Amazon, Fedex, and UPS are hiring locally here in Cincinnati and all you need to bring to the hiring expo is.....a picture ID. No mention of a resume, just, a picture ID..............

Having a job isn't a right. Voting is.
