2016 Election Thread Part Deux

'LES DEPLORABLES!' Trump floors cheering Miami crowd as he enters to Broadway anthem and speaks in front of giant 'Les Mis' video screen art

Donald Trump unveiled a new visual campaign theme in Miami on Friday – a mashup of the Broadway musical 'Les Misérables' and an epithet Hillary Clinton leveled at his supporters one week ago.

You continue to demonstrate your ignorance in real issues, that pipeline would not only allow Canadian shale oil to be shipped to the gulf refineries but also to our east coast refineries. And guess what? The oil being produced in the Balkan field (N. Dakota) would also been able to be introduced into that pipeline. Try to keep up with real issues.

For someone who claims to be a patriot and want a strong America you really know **** about what keeps us strong and who our real enemies are.

What do I care about Canadian shale oil? The only crap I could give about it is that it's not American.

Want a pipeline? Fine, then build the pipeline from North Dakota.

I'm not anti-pipeline. I'm anti-keep giving Canada the better end of the bargain.

Let the Canadians build their own damn pipeline. More permanent jobs probably exist supplying it by rail than by pipeline anyhow.

Not surprised to see scumbag democrats being scumbag democrats:

David Brock Offers Money for New Dirt on Donald Trump

“TrumpLeaks is an effort to uncover unreported video or audio of Donald Trump so voters can have access to the Donald Trump who existed before running for president and before his recent affinity for teleprompters,” the website says of the project. “TrumpLeaks can provide some compensation to those who have usable, undoctored video or audio that has been legally obtained or is legally accessible.”

Barack Obama has sensationally told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that he will NOT vacate the Oval office if Donald J. Trump is elected the 45th President of the United States.

The current president claims he is “fully prepared” to ignore the popular vote if it means stopping Trump, having found what he believes is a little known loophole that would allow him to remain in charge until a re-election is called.

“As president, I must do what I feel is in the best interests of our nation,” he explained. “If the American people elected ‘the Donald’ then I will be forced to take whatever actions I deem necessary.”

When asked by the CNN anchor if he would remain in charge, Obama’s response was firm. “I am not standing down as president if it means four years of President Trump,” he said categorically.

The president was asked what exact lengths he would go to, to prevent the billionaire from being sworn in on January, 20th, 2017. “I am prepared to file a motion of ‘no confidence’ in our citizens thereby taking their vote away from them,” he confessed.

I love satire websites.

So, you want to build that pipeline, create 10 jobs, and allow Canadians to keep leaching off us, do you?

Well, not me. I want that pipeline, but only under the right circumstances. I be damn if I'm going to let American land be used and potentially wrecked just so it can enrich Canadian public coffers and Canadian oil companies, along with just a few of their American butt buddies in the business.

It's going to be more than 10 jobs, but that's what the environmentalists want you to think.

But how about the jobs at refineries? The jobs from the shipping and export markets? All the peripheral jobs that will be created by introducing that pipeline?

Sure, Obama wants you to think it's no big deal, but such a pipeline will create thousands of jobs. And of course Warren Buffet opposes it since his trains are already transporting said oil sands to the refineries and he's getting rich off it.

If we can hold on until trump is elected, he had said he'll make the greatest pipeline deal ever. You people are going to love it. I can promise you that.

Wonder what she promised him?

Schneiderman let Clinton Foundation skip identifying foreign donors | New York Post

State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman gave the Clinton Foundation a pass on identifying foreign donors in its charitable filings — making it impossible to know if it got any special favors while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, according to a report Tuesday.

Scripps News found that the foundation and its subsidiary, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, took in $225 million in government donations between 2010 and 2014

You obviously have no idea how this works.

Keep reading books though.

An oil pipeline isn't a nineteenth-century rail line. It isn't going to supply endless jobs and economic growth. It isn't going to significantly invigorate towns directly situated next to it, unlike nineteenth-century rail towns.

It will create quite a few temporary jobs, which isn't a bad thing, while it's being built but will then only need maintenance. It won't even require the maintenance of a rail line. At that point, very few will be employed in a "pipeline" job.

It is not en economic panacea, as some of portrayed it. Pipelines aren't the twenty-first century version of the railroad.

But, as I said, build the one from North Dakota. I'm not anti-pipeline. Let's pause to think about this though before we make a move that's going to use American land to primarily enrich Canadian coffers.

As I said, build the pipeline, just not from Canada.

Canadians already take enough American jobs and mooch off of us enough. I'm tired of them getting all the benefits of being American without any of the negative consequences. We'll use our own oil and our own pipelines and our own refineries. We don't need Canadian oil, unless we're getting something for it.

A fine article from a fine, patriotic American:

Sizing Up the Next Commander-in-Chief - WSJ

This is really the crux for me too. This election really isn't about domestic policy, which both will fail at. It's about foreign policy, which, again while both will fail at it, only one has the opportunity to take the most disastrous steps in presidential history.

There are very few checks and balances when it comes to the executive's foreign policy power.

Only one? Uh, both. How many ambassadors has Trump allowed to get tortured and killed?

They'd both suck.

We don't know. We know absolutely nothing about him, other than that he's banged some women and evidently doesn't have any STDs, has a concept of masculinity equivalent to a teenage girl's, and has somehow managed not to completely botch the 200 million or so Fred Trump gave him over a decade or so not to completely fail.

That's just about all we know about Trump, the least transparent nominee in modern history.

Oh, that and his ties are made in China.

Are you saying Trymp is corrupt and Hillary is not?

I said that Trump is the least transparent candidate in modern history, perhaps ever, and that is a fact, not opinion.

About Clinton, I said nothing in that post, but, to placate you, yes, she is just as corrupt as Trump. She's just not a blathering idiot though, who is most likely clinically insane.
