2016 Election Thread Part Deux

I don't agree or disagree with you, but what has Trump ever done for the military? Please don't talk about this "forced" donation he just gave

Has little to do with Trump and more to do with Hillary. He's made his campaign promise to kick start the military back into gear. But you are correct he has no track record with the military. On one hand he's an unknown.

On the other hand, Hillary does have a track record. And suffice it to say, it ain't a good one. And her husband was just as bad. I came in during the Clinton years and trust me, it sucked.

And don't give me this "devil you know" nonsense about her either.

Unbelievable that this wretch is going to be president. The GOP should have been able to win this one blindfolded.

This election reminds me of the South Park baseball episode were each team tries as hard as possible to lose so their season will be over.

OK the economy has gotten better under Obama, the housing market has started to get better, the unemployment rate has dropped and there are more pissed off Republicans than ever...Life is good

....and Obozo will go down as the only president in history than can't produce a GDP over 3. Lol, ok dude.

And I'll say you are wrong.

Have you listened to anything he says? He very clearly admits to wanting to limit freedom. He mocks the first amendment. Wants to allow businesses to take private land. And he wants to be able to decide who should and shouldn't have a gun.

Yes, trump would 100% limit the freedoms of citizens if elected. To deny that is absurd.

The military since I joined back in the day, has always been majority right wing. During the Bill Clinton years I knew a lot of people who really liked him

The career desk jockeys loved the guy. At least in the Army it was night and day from his swearing in until I got out in 94.

You goofy ass.

You should be applauding his sincerity (if what you state is true) because those other pos are going to do it too. I'd rather a man tell me to my face his intentions as to a coward who stabs me in my back.

And I'd rather oppose tyranny. It's sad that you're so accepting of it

I'm not saying their not on the left either. But I am 100% saying that we will live in a less free country if trump is elected

How do you figure? Hillary is a proponent of everything you bash Trump for plus she advocates even more restrictions on firearms, higher taxes and universal healthcare.

I don't disagree. All that means is that neither is worth voting for.

How am I wrong? I'm going off his stated objectives.

Trump is a unknown. We damn sure know what we are getting with Hillary. I'd like to see who he chooses to bring in as VP. I think Trump is holding back until he and Hillary square off.

Look, he's not my first choice. But if she's elected, we are done. Period. At least we have a chance with him. (I'd like to think)

Trump would need white voters to vote in the same numbers they did in 1980 to win. The thing about that those people are either Democrats now or are dead. So what was the solution to that problem??? appeal to hispanics women and college educated whites. All three of those demographics are all in Hillary's camp now. If its a Kasich, Rubio or even Jeb. The Republican nominee either has a great chance or a good chance to secure those voting blocks.
