2016 DNC Discussion

Party foul.

Booms are reserved for 4+ star recruits who will wear orange, not 4 year olds with orange skin.

I'll admit, that was a good one.

Problem is, he says what's on his mind. He doesn't care about PC and a good majority of US citizens are getting sick of it too.

The problem is, he doesn't know how to speak without the patronizing tone of voice. His speeches are rambling and unfocused. Beyond just the juvenile rhetoric, he is inarticulate. He is speaking to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Charlotte soon. What is a 70 year old man who couldn't find Vietnam on a world map going to have to say to them? It will be another stump speech and his typical incoherent mess.

Because low income kids deserve an opportunity to get an education without going balls deep in debt. Kids that come from single parent house holds, you guys are happy as long as white rich kids get what they need

Can't tell if you're being obtuse or you actually believe that. You said you served so I'll give you an example you can follow.

You start off as a private. If you do the right things, excel at training, gain experience, show leadership, etc. you can eventually make sergeant. Let's say sergeants run crew served weapons.

Now let's say everyone starts off a sergeant. They do not have the skills, training, experience, etc. you have earned with your time served. They just have the title. Do you think that sergeants should still run crew served weapons? Or maybe you start thinking lieutenants is the new mark for running crew served weapons.

That is the problem with free for everyone. Proponents make the current job market static and say see if you had a degree you'd be set. Well no, if everyone has the same qualifications then the requirements for a job are going to change. If a bachelors was the basic education level for everyone then that's what you would need to work at Burger King. And a job you used to need a bachelors for now requires a grad degree. And so on. So you invest gigantic sums into education to wind up at the same place. The cost provides a barrier to entry that's necessary for the job market to work. Public primary school is free, and you see what prospects a HS diploma gets you today.

JHC!!! When I went to bed last night, this thread was on page 37. I come back to it this am and there are 67 pages.

The last post I read was GV saying GCB is sharpening an axe, then I fast for forwarded to the last page.

So....Did GCB kill any body?:)

Haha I built it and I prosper greatly from it... People who say the economy sux has themselves to blame.... If you don't have the balls to take a chance in life then you need to suffer and blame yourself and not a politician. I'm about to add 4 more offices for my company even with BHB as president.... Republicans blame everyone but themselves

Ok, so besides the complete contradiction there, what about all those people? Doesn't this apply to a significant number of democrat voters that live off of government assistance when they are perfectly capable of maintaining a full time job?

I don't know of many conservative voters that blame the system for their lack of progress.

My thoughts as well. That was restraint. Heck, "Suicide Blonde", "Calamity Jane", "Soulless Monster of a Treasonous Wench" would have been showing restraint.

How about HiLIARly The Greatest Political Whore of All Time, Who Brokers Arms Deals to Foreign Governments through the State Department for 'Donations' to the Clinton Fund.

She really is slimey enough to gag a maggot, and ONLY a people who either work hard to maintain a position of intentional ignorance because they're 'Yellow Dog Democrats' and refuse to see truth in front of their eyes, or have something to gain because they're sucking on the front tit of 'entitlement' and don't care about truth and right and wrong could vote for her.

The first time I heard this I admit I thought it was a bit far fetched.

But then I read the facts, and there has long been reason to think that the Russians would prefer Trump over Clinton. That has been out there for a long time, not just the last couple of weeks.

Its not like Trump was dismissive of NATO for the first time last week. The evidence is that the way the leaks occurred is the way the Russians have been doing it. So you have to wonder whether the Russians might at least have a role in how this transpired.

I'll use one of HRC's quotes to respond to you. "At this point, what difference does it make?"

.. You're about to have 16 years of a democrat in office

Here's the result of your wishful thinking for the next 8 years.

Continuing down this path will eventually lead to a collapse within the system that will begin to have a domino effect from coast to coast.

I will agree with 100% that the system to help low income families is flawed. That being said, there are too many people in this country that actually need help. If you actually believe that those receiving government assistance are only democrats then you're delusional. East Tennessee is full of govt mooching republicans, hell the entire south is. They love to blame there problems on someone else , mainly Hussein Obama. Always love when the inbreds say Hussein Obama like it makes him a Muslim terrorist.

In one sense, none. It is clear that the DNC "put its thumb on the scales" to try to get Clinton nominated over Sanders.

The party structures are not supposed to do that. Now, I think it is somewhat naive to think they don't. I mean, the people running those structures are involved in politics. So of course they play favorites, and that is true of both parties.

But this comes at a time when both parties have elements within them that are sick of that occurring. Its really not so much that it made a difference here in terms of who would have won the primary. Its more that it is disheartening to the voters to think that they have little or no voice in choosing the nominee.

On the GOP side, I can't recall which state it was, but Trump and his people were furious when it emerged that the delegates were chosen by, again, people already in the system and with ties to various candidates.

Now back to the original issue. There is an investigation going on into whether Russian state agents did this. Apparently, there is strong if not overwhelming evidence of it, according to the technical people on such hacking. That is not to say that Trump had them do it. I think that is really far fetched.

But it is to say that the Russians have incentive to interfere a bit and play some games because they strongly prefer dealing with Trump rather than Clinton. Forget the Trump quotes about admiring Putin, that's not important. But, Trump has made numerous statements suggesting a willingness on his part to back down to Russian aggression in Europe.

The question becomes, in the foreign policy debates, how does Trump deal with questions about this. Is he just arrogant and dismissive, smirking at it? I think that would be a mistake, because many commentators on both sides are noting this desire on behalf of the Russians to get Trump elected. That is going to raise suspicions as the next few months unfold.

A lot of jobs today do require a graduate degree. Also not everyone will be getting a free education just those who come from a home of people making less than a certain amount.

It already collapsed once under Bush, that's not Obama's fault

I know FOR A FACT that this is untrue. For one thing, my friend is a delegate and her husband and I and numerous people we were all talking about the fact that CNN had a picture of her, draped in the American flag, on their homepage for awhile last night.

So you are just flat wrong.

How many were provided by the DNC? Maybe your friend brought their own?
