There is one bowl game left, but I thought it would be interesting to compare some statistics. Though numbers don't tell the whole story, (because injuries) we all have opinions but numbers don't lie.

Total Offense: 51st
Total Offense: 52nd

Rushing YPG: 42nd
Rushing YPG: 20th

Passing YPG: 62nd
Passing YPG: 92nd

Total Defense: 36th

Rushing Yards Allowed PG: 111th
Rushing Yards Allowed PG: 45th

Passing Yards Allowed PG: 65th
Passing Yards Allowed PG: 47th

At least our throw game is better lol. Well minus the whole more INTs thrown thing

Also missing three DT's ...kirkland, Sutton for half the year and the best player on the field in JRM and the list goes on and on injuries and bad luck. Better hope players step up and improve in the offseason or next year is going to be a long year

Last year Maggitt got hurt, O'Brien got suspended, Vickers got hurt, Tuttle got hurt, Kmac didn't do much. Injuries are always part of the game and a long season.

It's time to be honest with yourself and admit this team is worse on defense, offense, turnover margin, penalties, and special teams. You can't blame all of that on injuries, well you can but it's childish.

Pet peeve time. "This pet peeve moment brought to you by your local Food City. Shop Food City if your peeved at the high prices in other grocery stores".

Why do we call it throw game? It's a pass. We pass the ball; we dont throw it. Why not call it a heave game...or a toss game...or a chuck game...or a pitch game?

In football we pass the ball. We dont throw it like those sissy-nannies in Britain with their Cricket.

This is not a true comparison of 2015 vs 2016. This is a comparison of: How the 2015 Vols ranked against all the other teams Vs How the 2016 Vols ranked against all the other teams.

A better comparison would be 2015 #s vs 2016 #, not rankings, so go ahead and knock that out for us.

A football is thrown even if we call a play that the QB throws the ball a pass play.

Injuries and mistakes is what got us this year along with missed field goals(the one he missed against Vandy stands out to me.

Go Vols!

Defense, turnovers, and penalties. Woof.

On penalties and turnovers...didn't Elder leave last year? Wonder if his influence carried over to those areas. Really grasping at straws because the change from Jones' first three years to this one on those areas is a major anomaly. Who knows...crazy. Without turnovers we are easily 11-1
