Freak,

I resubmitted my picks yesterday and still no email in any of my boxes.

Can you see my submission?

TIA

I'm new, so. . .

The pick sheet says to enter a score for the final game. But the contest is for the season. Are there weekly updates? Or where does that final score come into play?

It doesn't matter except in the case of week 13 if there happens to be a tie for the season.

I'll have a chicken strip dinner from Dairy Queen;that gravy is yeah buddy...

Grandma's Gameday Gravy in the big*ss iron skillet she gave me before she went to gravy heaven...

Keep all the bacon grease from frying a lb of bacon.* Add enough self-rising flour to make a thin paste...almost...but not quite...runny. Add salt and pepper and cook the flour over medium-low heat until it starts to brown. Stir continuously and don't let it burn. Add a TN stadium cup 3/4 full of HOT water all at once** and stir like crazy as the flour "rises." Keep stirring until smooth. Add more water if necessary to achieve desired thickness and continue to stir. Cook another 5 minutes or so and turn off heat. Keep stirring until it stops bubbling. Remove from heat. Makes a lot so make sure you use a big*ss iron skillet. Eat and enjoy.

*Sausage grease is also good...especially with the sausage bits left in the skillet...but may need to add some vegetable oil (or bacon grease from the frig if you keep it like I do) to cover the bottom of the skillet. But bacon grease makes the best gravy, cornbread, pancakes, etc.

**Some folks use milk or a water/milk mix. I prefer water.

On the confirmation email, is the "Your Pick" on the wrong side? Or did I really pick Tennessee to lose?

Kinda surprised the Ohio State/VT match-up isn't on there.

I considered it. But being a Monday night game, I would have had to update the results late Monday or early Tuesday and it would leave us a couple days short for next week's picks.

I also don't like to include Thursday or Friday games. I think the consistency of having a Saturday entry deadline is easier to keep track of.

Yeah, ignore that headder. It's a formatting issue that gets me every year.
