I want uk too. This season is done. It wont happen but I'd love to play UK and have a shot at embarrassing them.

That's what makes me want them,it'll be one of those games that you have nothing to lose so donnie brings his best and we pull out all the stops

Destroyed isn't a good word.i wouldn't call around 50% from the field as "destroyed" and yes,if We got another chance,I think it's closer than the last game. Good luck with uga, you'll need it  lol and please wish us good luck, for lsu will spank us like a newborn baby :(

Have you not paid attention to what's happened to this program the past two times we've played Kentucky in the tournament?

2010: 74-45 loss. And that was the Elite 8 squad.
2005: 76-62 loss.

The SEC tournament is a home game for Kentucky. 75% of the arena is blue. Every year. And this year Kentucky is arguably the most talented it's been in Cal's tenure. It'll be a 20+ point loss if we got them this year.

I don't see how a game 5 years ago and a game 10 years ago is relevant. TN was within 4 points after 32 minutes in the game two weeks ago. There were nearly as many KY fans at the TBA that night as there were TN fans.

Have you ever been to the SEC tournament? It's a completely different atmosphere that highly favors the Cats. They have fans that travel to the hosting city without tickets just to go to the bars and watch there.

And it matters because those Tennessee teams were much better, and those Kentucky teams were worse. And the 2010 team actually won that game against the #2 Cats in Knoxville. With a depleted roster.

What scenarios keep TN at 10 or 11 and not 8 or 9.

Edit: looks like 10th is the lowest possible finish.
