2015 schedule released

That makes sense. I hadn't really considered the idea just as long as those teams schedule games where they get paid, it has the same effect. I do wish Memphis would stop being a big baby and play us though.

I thought UT dropped that series

I know it's not in state but I'd like to see us set up a permanent match up with Ohio state.

Not sure what much OSU would have to gain from it, though.

If they really want to try to expand their recruiting or their brand into the Southeast, they'd likely be much better served playing somewhere in GA (like in ATL or with a GA team) or against a FL team.

I think that was only the case in hosting a game in basketball.

In football I thought it's been more of an issue of the state-legislature wanting to try to pressure the school to play not only Memphis, but a game in Memphis as well...and UT in all honesty not being too keen/gung-ho about the idea of sacrificing a home football game to play at a school of that size/caliber.

On the contrary, with the new playoff system, you are going to see more and more teams scheduling teams from the other power conferences as out of conference opponents.

In fact, you will see the OOC schedules get more difficult.

Have to see how the committee treats it first. If they don't push a team out for SOS reasons, then you're probably still going to see a lot of schools going the Miss St (pretty much ole miss) route of OOC scheduling.

Especially the case if it turns out a major school misses the playoffs because the lost the one out of conference power 5 matchup they scheduled (in a case, for example, such as OSU with the Virginia Tech game).

With Dobbs all season, i see 9 wins not including the bowl game. Without Dobbs's, total wildcard. Got some great qb talent coming in but another true freshman at the helm is just too soul crushing to think about.

I vision 7-8 wins. Anything more than that is a top 20.:good!:

I'm going crazy I think we'll only lose a game or 2... At bama is the only one that yells loss

10 - 2 with the losses being most likely to either arky and mizzery or bama. Jmo
