2015 NBA Playoff Thread

#Lebronbetterthanyourfavoriteplayer. And there's nothing you can do about it!! Cavs in 6

About what I've come to expect from Lebron fans. Reading their comments on ESPN is embarrassing. None of them can spell and none of them use/acknowledge stats unless it makes the Cavs look better. If it's about the Warriors being better, they'll just discredit it even though they're the ones that played in the crappy east. You actually have Cavs fans saying their D is better than the Warriors because they beat a bunch of trash in the playoffs even though the Warriors had the best regular season D(and O). A Harvard guy/Army guy/Lebron fan ended his one comment by saying...

hypocracy anyone??...that's right biotch!!!

America 1 Jihad 0...gtfo!.

Yeah, okay. Why is this uneducated Lebron fan, a fan of Harvard? Dude spews diarrhea of the mouth while listing himself as a Harvard fan and he can't even spell "hypocrisy". This seems to be the mo of most Lebron/Cavs/Heat fans really. Big mouths that just toss out cliches like "you're a hater".

Those are the type of people that make me question how they're able to feed and clothe themselves let alone find their way onto the internet. I'm guessing those same people also think evolution isn't real seeing as they have yet to evolve themselves. It's why a study just showed that popular artists like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Beyonce etc. lyrics are all about on par with a 2nd grade reading level. Kanye West thinks he's the greatest of all time and yet he has the vocabulary of a 2nd grader. Stupid people eat that crap up and judging by the comments of Lebron fans on ESPN, it's the same people. They just like whatever is popular because they're too stupid to think for themselves. These are people who think they're intelligent and that Kanye is a genius because they understood his 2nd grade writings. And being the geniuses they are(think they are), they're right about everything(so they think) and that's why they throw out hashtags and cliches while thinking they've said something meaningful(they didn't).

The first comment I posted, the guy actually called someone "idiotic trash" even though he's another one of the Lebron fans who can't spell basic words correctly. Some sense of entitlement these people have when all they did was jump on a bandwagon. They actually insult the intelligence of other people in defense of Lebron's basketball skills. I question the intelligence of Lebron fans because of their defense of Lebron and the lows they'll sink to defend him. For starters, you don't have to be intelligent to watch basketball so I don't know why they attack people over it. Especially considering they're the uneducated ones. On the flip side, I understand why people would question and attack their intelligence. It's no longer a basketball issue when a Lebron fan is defending him. They take it personally and make it personal rather than about basketball which in turn, personally makes me think they're as stupid as they sound. The discussion no longer becomes about Lebron playing basketball, just that they love him in general and can't stand when other people don't kneel before him as well. It's not even basketball related at that point. It's closer to being homosexual related.

The ESPN comments on the Warriors on the other hand, you actually have people throwing out stats as proof to back up their claims. Cavs fans just claim the Cavs are better with no real reason for it other than Lebron plays for them. I wonder how many Lebron fans claiming to be Cavs fans even know what the team's starting line up is. I'll bet you could find a fan or two(hundred thousand) who don't even know Kevin Love is hurt and or forgot he's even on the Cavs. Just sayin', that's how stupid some of them show themselves to be in the ESPN comment section. Half of the stuff they claim is stuff they blatantly make up or happened like 2 or 3 years ago as if it will impact the upcoming series.

At this point, I wouldn't put it past a Lebron fan to claim Lebron will beat the Warriors(note that I said Lebron and not the Cavs) in game 1 of the finals if he eats a granola bar because in game 1 of the finals against the Thunder he ate one and lead his team to victory. If you didn't know any better, you'd made by their fans to think that Lebron is a team of one and could win by himself. Who cares that he couldn't win with Bosh or Wade last year. Makes no difference that Love is out and the Cavs are worse than the Heat. Army of one. Army of Lebron.

Hopefully the Warriors just go ahead and sweep the Cavs so hearing this garbage can come to an end sooner, rather than later. Lebron fans were actually comparing the Buckeyes being written off, and Kentucky falling as reasoning for the Cavs beating the Warriors. Now, I'm not sure what either have to do with this series but they've managed to find reasoning behind it. Who cares that those were single elimination games... who cares that one was another sport entirely. Not these people, they'll say any stupid thing they can think of just to say something stupid. It's baffling.

Ah, better. Boy, that was sure weighing on my mind. As a Tennessee fan, I can't help but liken Lebron fans to Florida, Bama, Vandy, Kentucky fans etc. but worse because there's so many more of them to pat each other on the back after they say something stupid. They empower each other to be morons.

Bill Lambert said no question he'd take LeBron over MJ. Is he the first big name to say that?

If you meant Laimbeer, that's like asking Ewing if he'd rather have Reggie Miller or Ray Allen

Well, if we are talking about personal bias, wouldn't Laimbeer claim MJ is the better player? I know they were rivals, but it makes Laimbeer's legacy a lot stronger if MJ is the greatest.

Jordan busted the Pistons up. Everybody but Dumars went to the locker room before the game was even over. I doubt Laimbeer enjoys MJ getting praised by anyone, for anything.

Laimbeer busted up MJ three times in the playoffs, and won two titles a row in MJ's era. You know how many star big men bested Jordan in his prime? You can count them on one finger.

Laimbeer did the same thing every other big did. Waited for MJ to penetrate, and then knocked the hell out of him. It stopped working when Pippen came of age and MJ bulked up.

Even if he hates Jordan, I still think his strongest incentive is to enhance his own legacy.

No it doesn't. Nobody thinks "MJ was the GOAT, man that makes Laimbeer better than we thought" Bill is who he is doesn't matter if MJ is the GOAT or not.
