2015 NBA Playoff Thread

When the 2nd best offensive threat is a streaky 3-point shooter in JR Smith and your team is void of a ball-handler/creator/facilitater you're going to have poor efficiency numbers.

Well, he had Love for 4 games and Kyrie only missed 2 games, but he's been inefficient basically throughout. You're over-stating his solo act, a bit.

With that much usage, I would expect his TS% to come down some, but you shouldn't go from very efficient to very inefficient just because of usage. He's on a bad streak.

I don't think I am. Love has been out for two series plus, Irving has been hobbled and isn't adding much in taking the defenses attention away from LeBron.

Cavs run a ton of high pick and roll, mostly just to get a switch to a favorable matchup, they do this and the entire team is focused on James. He's a willing passer but when guys aren't finishing, he starts forcing shots.

I will say that his jumpshot has been broke all playoffs long. He's going to have to play on the block in the Finals for Cleveland to have a chance. As good as A.I. And Green are at defense, they can't handle him down low.

Ftr, last year i said San Antonio was gonna win it, they were the better team by a lot. Cavs are winning this year.

No you didn't.

In the playoffs thread at the end of the Spurs/Thunder series...

So which of these chumps want to lose to the champs this year?

Don't they only win titles in odd numbered years?

Better luck next year Spurms.

Your first post of the finals thread...

Heat in 5, book that ****!

On what planet is saying "better luck next year Spurs" and "Heat in 5" the same as predicting the Spurs?

The only reason I went back to look it up is because I know you'd never go against Lebron and I smelled bull the second you claimed you predicted the Spurs.

Because of that, I take your opinion on the Cavs being better than the Heat last year with a grain of salt as I've been saying the Heat were better than the Cavs(without Love) and the Warriors are better than the Spurs. Don't back track this time and say your predicted the Warriors/MVP would beat Lebron and co. after it inevitably happens.

You can't tell those were sarcasm?

The Hawks were a legit contender 4 months ago. They fell hard. People just now watching the NBA playoffs don't appreciate that the Hawks that beat the Warriors were a different team than the one that got swept. That's why they won 60.

Atlanta peaked early, but there is no shame in that team. It far exceeded expectations and still found its way into the ECF not playing its best basketball.

Does TOP win for finding those posts, or does Ben win for mental ninja-ing TOP into spending who knows how long finding that junk? I vote Ben.
