2015 NBA Playoff Thread

Hack-a-Howard working nicely. 1/4 on his last 4 ft's with the Warriors intentionally fouling him back to back possessions.

Rockets only up 10 after being up 25 and making like 10 of 14 3's or so I think it was.

A 10 point lead is nice and all but I wouldn't be that thrilled given what the score was and Curry exiting the game if I'm the Rockets/Rocket fans.

Warriors need to go ahead and wrap this thing up tonight rather than prolong it and risk giving the Cavs a huge advantage with a bunch of extra rest. It would be nice if both teams could go into the Finals on pretty even terms.

Eject Howard.

Of course they don't eject him.

I don't think there's any way what Howard did warrants an ejection, but in today's ultra-soft NBA, and especially after what happened to Horford last night, there's no way Howard shouldn't have been thrown out.

My thinking as well. It's not that I think it has to be an ejection because of the action itself. But yeah, if Horford is ejected then Howard definitely should be.

I bet the Rockets are going to wish he was if they end up losing because a loss with him would be even more embarrassing.

And Curry is coming back!

Complete joke after what happened last night for him not to be gone.

Yeah, this is why I'm always complaining about refs and their impact on games. Their calls are always all over the place. They'll call travels when the feel like it, over the back, moving screens, fouls etc. when they want to and they'll also ignore it when they want to. In this case they're ejecting players and not ejecting players when they want to. The human error at this point for refs is laughable. They even get replays wrong sometimes so it's like why even bother. Apparently we're supposed to accept this is how it is rather than complain about it til sports fix it.

That's just part of the game though, and there's very little that can ever be done to fix it since so much of BB refereeing is completely subjective.

So are they really trying to argue that whether a blatant elbow to the face warrants an ejection depends on what has happened in the game leading up to that moment? How stupid.

Well, like the the NFL has Ferrara or whatever and the NBA has so and so, why can't they just phone that guy and let him make the call? Something other than letting refs choose how they ref games from crew to crew. But from my pov, they flat out call the game differently for both teams in the same game which to me says it's what they want anyways. Who knows but I'll never believe the Lakers championships while beating Kings and Blazers or the Heats first championship over the Mavs. Those series were something else as far as officiating is concerned. Anyways, I wasn't trying to go on a tirade about the refs tonight. Just, yeah... I've seen some terrible calls tonight in favor of the Rockets while letting the Rockets get away with whatever the other way even if you don't include the Howard/Horford non-ejection/ejection. Another game to put on tv and milk the fans into showing up for. :)

I'm ****ing lit. I just got kicked out of the house for laughing hysterically for 5 minutes straight and not telling my old lady why

Curry just needs to take the rest of the night off. They're not going to win, and while he may not actually have a concussion, he's clearly not all there since coming back from the locker room.

Harden wants the foul even though his teammate scored. What if he misses 1 and only makes 2 of 3. I can only assume he's more concerned about himself getting points than getting a 3rd point on three attempts while taking 2 points off the board.
