2015 NBA Playoff Thread

Warriors handed out shirts to their fans. Rockets think it was unprofessional.

The Rockets are probably right but the Warriors are giving shirts to fans who spent money to be there and support them. Giving their fans free 15 dollar shirts for spending money(and possibly traveling from Cali) to support them is a small gesture and most likely an attempt to get Warriors fan to be as loud as possible to cancel out the Rockets home court advantage.

Not like the Warriors are used to being good and they need to steal whatever Clippers/Lakers fans they can, while they can. They'll probably steal a lot of them(for the time being) because a lot of them just pick whichever California team is winning. Lakers, Clippers, Warriors, Kings, Dodgers, Angels, A's, Giants, Padres, 49ers, Raiders, Chargers and now the freakin' Rams want go back. We get it, it's a big populated state. But damn, how many teams do you need? It's pretty hard for them to all suck at the same time so a lot of Cali fans just bounce from team to team. Even Nicholson started walking out on the Lakers. Many Fakers fans shifted to Sob City, and those same people will now shift to GS and drop money on Warriors apparel. The shirts they handed out were mentioned on the side of the ESPN front page and are probably being bought by said fans as we speak.

Anyways, to be on the safe side the Warriors might wanna close it out tonight. Wouldn't want Harden and Howard getting mad and gaining some momentum with a win after this stunt by the Warriors. Maybe Josh Smith will get mad enough to stop chucking crappy 3's and play the power forward position correctly for someone with his skill set. Someone needs to tell that mf'er he can't shoot. Not just that he shouldn't shoot, that he can't shoot, period. Because he sucks d at shooting. Big time.

I ain't tellin' Josh Smith nothin'

Yeah, me neither.

Everyone always wondered about Lebron at WR but I always wondered about someone like Josh Smith as well. If he wasn't anything like the Josh Smith we know personality wise and he stopped playing on the perimeter, he would have been perfect player at PF. Too bad he has a mind of his own and that his mind tells him jacking up 3's is a good idea. Being that he chooses to diminish his role by taking crappy shots rather than collect offensive boards for easy put backs, I always thought his size and athleticism could have made for a good WR. More useful than the times he's throwing up bricks for the opposing team to collect. Too bad anybody that's 6'9 with that athleticism will almost always be guaranteed a shot at the NBA. Now point in guys like Lebron, Josh Smith, Dwight Howard to try their hand at football. Somebody like Dwight at PF would have been pretty awesome. Then again, he's always hurt so watching him on the bench with injuries all the time wouldn't be very awesome.

And 9-0 run to start the game for Houston.

I'm sure Atlanta forums were horrible towards him after he wore out his welcome. I'm not even a fan of the Hawks and he wore his welcome with me. I was fan of his athleticism and his ability to finish at the rim and block shots. When he played like that he was a beast. But so many times(playoff games especially) he'd start throwing up jumpers like it was going out of style. He didn't care that it was leading to runs for the other team. Somehow he convinced himself that "the next shot is going in" as he misses shot after shot. Everyone knows it's not going in but him. All people can do is cringe as he begins to pull up behind the arc.

How did they not call the push in the back against the Rockets but then called a block the other way against the Warriors on the break smh

That was a pathetic quarter for the Warriors.

If the Rockets end up losing, will be pathetic for the Rockets. That quarter was as lopsided as you'll get.

Even the commentator just said the ref ignored Howard's travel while giving him the and 1. lol

Refs man, refs.

Also, I think Curry was the one that went to the clubs last night. He's missing open floaters, open 3's and overthrowing passes badly.

Curry's going to the locker room. Lame.

I think he'll be back game 5(if the Warriors lose) even if he misses the rest of tonight. Hope so anyways.

I wish Bill Walton was still calling games. He'd be ranting about how all these stars don't drink V8 and that's why they're getting hurt, like that time back in 75 when the grateful dead taught Phil Jackson how taking LSD makes you see triangles all over the court with Shaun Bradley being the most useless 7 footer in the history of western civilization and my beard is covered in bird **** because I kept feeding them V8 with my big fat ****ing mouth.

That touch foul on Thompson against Curry 8 feet behind the 3 point line, are you kidding me? They just wanted to give the Rockets/Harden points. smh

Barbosa with a big first half. I've seen him score at least 7 points. Down to 10.

Curry has a head contusion they just said. Return questionable.

I say he's back out there tonight unless he has a concussion to go with it.
