2015 NBA Playoff Thread

It's unbelievable how everyone ****s on Harden's D when Steph is actually worse

The thing is, I'm not sure any point guard is really good on D. I see every single point guard get lit up, doesn't matter how good they are. I see guys like George Hill and Mo Williams lighting up star players for 25 like it's nothing. In return, they obviously get lit up too by said star player. Point guards getting lit up seems to be a common theme. Probably because they usually have the ball the most barring someone like Kobe, Lebron, Durant, Harden etc. on their team.

Realgm is still down. Would like to see NY's reaction to falling to 4. I think some would have been disappointed simply by getting the #2 instead of the #1 even though those were their odds. I can only imagine the meltdown a fan base like that would have over falling to #4.

Refs... what is this lol

Rockets 10ft's to the Warriors 2ft's in the 1st quarter. Then giving Bogut back to back fouls to give him 3 fouls early in the 2nd. Then Josh Smith hits a 3, might be over. It usually is when that dude is hitting 3's. Josh Smith shooting a jump shot is like watching gay sex, not pretty.

Did you just ask me to marry you?

Cause I'll say yes

Lol. Nah, when I get too old for it to matter I'm just gonna say **** it, spend my retirement on drugs and lose my mind once and for all.

I read a bit and they seem to be pissed that NY was the only team that dropped...but they also seem excited at possibly getting Russell. Not as much if it were Mudiay.

Falling out of the top 4 was every teams biggest fear but yeah, I'm sure they're not upset about Russel. Hopefully he's more Westbrook and less Evan Turner for whoevers sake. Missing out on Okafor and Towns seems like it would hurt though. They better hope they can land someone like Gasol or Aldridge. Unlikely.

Why is JVG so surprised that Ezeli graduated at 14 as if it seems impossible? Dude went to Vanderbilt. Maybe he never heard about Amobi Okaye at Louisville. Kid was starting as like a 16 year old freshman and got drafted by the Texans at 19.

Russel-Melo-Monroe or Melo-Karl/Okafor/-Monroe.

I'd definitely like the latter but it's not a bad 2nd option at all.

I remember him. He picked Louisville over Harvard I believe. Good kid, I don't think he's playing right now.

Oh right, Monroe will be available. Just yeah, as long as they can get a big. I think they have no chance at Okafor or Towns at this point though. They'll have to go big elsewhere.

You got a preference? Cause I like Towns a lot.

No homo

I'm not sure. Despite playing on undefeated Kentucky and national champion Duke, I don't feel like I saw either enough to really know. I just know I'd take either based on the hype. What is it about Towns game that you like?

Mobility(he runs the floor really well IMO), not afraid of contact and improving jumper

I'm jealous that the Warriors are going to end up with Curry for 75-100% of his career most likely. As long as the Warriors are good, I don't see why he'd leave. Wall and Beal should take note of Curry and Thompson cause that's what's up at PG and SG.

I read Towns hit like 70/100 nba threes in a workout recently. He only took 6 threes (last I checked) at UK. If he had been a team that used him a ton, I can only imagine what he would have averaged. Those would be some interesting stats.

That's weird that Kentucky didn't design some plays for it if he's that good. Could have made Kentucky even more dangerous.

I remember Cal saying something like "he needs to learn inside before he steps outside", which I was sad to hear. He could have easily averaged more than Okafor had Cal chosen to.
