2015 NBA Playoff Thread

A combination of both IMO. They are playing good D but guys are missing a lot of shots they normally wouldn't too. But its not only scoring there are stretches where it looks like me and some friends on a playground, just running around all helter skelter.

I just don't see why either team wants to drive the paint. The Cavs have stretches where they settle for jumpshots. The Bulls need to go OKC style and let Rose take over. I'd rather have Perkins on my team rather than Noah.

Shareef O'Neal is a problem on the court -- just like his dad, Shaq - SportsNation - ESPN

Article didn't mention his age but I think he's class of 2018. So he's only 14 or 15 in the video? He looks like the anti-shaq as far skill-set goes. Someone even commented on the video... "He shot 17/27 (67%) in his freshman 2014-2015 season", referring to free throws. Definitely the anti-Shaq.

Just wait until he's 350 lbs

Small sample size, TOP

Never said he was good. Just barring a massive amount of weight gain, his game is nothing like his father for the time being. We didn't see enough of him in action to know how good he is but he appears to have some nice handles for his height.

On the flip side when Shaq was a 6'6 freshman...

As it happened, O'Neal was cut from his ninth grade basketball team because of his clumsiness.

It's possible the kid won't be anything and it's possible he'll balloon up like his father. 6'8, dribbling like that and dunking flat footed in game for a 14-15 year old is fairly impressive though. I'm not saying he's great or anything based off the highlight video. Just that he appears to move well for being 6'8 and that he could be headed towards a 7ft athletic power forward/center as opposed to being a big ass 325lb center like his father that has little skill other than being massive. He could also be done growing and is stuck at shooting guard or small forward should he be good enough to get through college. Heck, maybe he'll suck completely end up working as a State Farm Agent like Cliff Paul. Being a product of Shaq and already being 6'8 at his age is intriguing though. Shaq hit a growth spurt late so who knows when this kid will stop growing seeing as he's already 6'8 and his father is 7'1.

I'd probably care more if Wall was playing. Injuries are a big reason the playoffs have stunk. IMO

True. But I was pumped to see Beal step up, and someone like Pierce have good games. If he had hit that 3 to tie at the end it'd be a different story, possibly 3-1.

Beal's done well distributing and made some plays on D, but as always his scoring efficiency is not impressive. He's taken 84 shots and 25 FTAs, so basically 99 points off 96 shots. League average would be 103 points.

Without Wall, who do you want taking shots? Gortat, who was miserable the other night? Nene? Who didn't hit a fg in the first two games? Pierce? Maybe. I like seeing Beal shoot like he did. Btw, Harden averaged 17 on 18 shots this year, carrying the team most of the way. That's what Beal was forced to do without Wall.

Not following you on Harden. He averaged 27 off 23 (counting FTs).

Beal can take the shots. I'm just saying he's not making them.

You took out ft's for Beal, so I took it out for Harden and it's the same idea. A player might not shoot efficiently, but the team might need it badly.

Korver with 6 steals.

What an ugly game. Hawks had more turnovers than assists. Teague came out with 5' left and a the Hawks had a 9 point deficit. Ouch.
