I do my best to defend him sometimes, because we go back a few years and he was one of the first guys I actually really enjoyed talking to. But he can be such an a-hole it's ridiculous.

GS also "match up well" with every single other team in the league based on your definition.

I think out of all the teams left GS matches up best against the Grizzlies. It's that simple. Grizzlies try to play slow, methodical offense. GS runs up and down like crazy and actually has a great defense too. Unless Memphis really steps up it'll be hard seeing this game go to 6 imo.

I pretty much stopped reading that forum altogether around that time. Its way past time to just nuke that forum, and have everyone start over with new pseudonyms. Lol.

Opposite offensive approaches doesn't mean a mismatch. You could just as easily say the Grizz could slow down the Warriors.

If fast paced offenses automatically trump half court offenses then why doesn't everybody run fast paced?

The Warriors are definitely a better team this year. They don't match up great against the grizz, though.

Lol, I completely understand what you're trying to argue. I'm not saying the Grizz are bad, or can't make it a good series. But GS plays the exact opposite of Memphis. It's the fastest offense vs the slowest and the 3 point bombers vs the low-post attack (30 thress vs >15 usually). I just fail to see how Memphis can ever keep pace. They are going to do better than a lot of teams, but they will not be able to keep GS at their pace imo. GS had 20+ fast break points in the 1st game, and I felt like that were actually sloppy at times (although you could say the same about Memphis).

What are the Grizz going to do? Throw it to Gasol and Zbo all game? Green and Bogut are great defenders. Green especially bothered Zbo in games before. GS will probably go to it's bench and use Speights/Lee more than usual too. You have to hope other guards, maybe even guys like Carter to have big games. I just don't see that for 3 or 4 wins. They will get one game, maybe two if things work out.

If it was any other team, and if Conley was back, they'd probably beat the rest of the West. I actually like the Grizz, but GS is the perfect team to beat them imo.

Yeah he was cool when I first went in there, I don't converse with him much anymore. Just got tired of his routine.

I enjoy the small core of nba forum posters a ton more than the people in the basketball forum. Never thought I'd say that hehe.
