2015 NBA Playoff Thread

Yeah, that's what it equals, but it's only a difference of a couple million between Williams and Williams. Hawks were under by almost $5M in both '13 and '14. So again, you get Williams or you get Williams, and in either case you still get Korver, Carroll, and Millsap.

$7-8M for a solid vet that can play the 3 and the 4 is not a bad contract. We just disagree that he has value. Hornets paid him $8M this year, and he performed.

Your last sentence should read "Hornets paid him $8M this year, and he performed...poorly...as was expected, hence the abysmal contract by an abysmal franchise".

@SportsCenter: Crazy Stat of Day: LeBron and Kyrie Irving have scored or assisted on EVERY 4th quarter Cavs basket the last 2 games. (via @ESPNStatsInfo)

I still don't think the NBA understands what hero ball means.

I'm not sure what it means, but based on the context in which I've heard it, it sounds like it mocks when someone unnecessarily takes over a game. Is that right?

Keep your panties untwisted 'twas a joke

Here's a tip. The joke would make sense if you applied it to the person who asked for it.

It's like somebody making a joke about a rapist comedian and George Carlin is the punchline.

Yeah generally late in a game when a guy *cough* Russ *cough* shoots a bunch trying to be the hero.

Is this the second time you've mentioned Carlin in an argument in the NBA forum, or am I having false dejavu?
