Well it kind of works out me not having a tv since OKC sucks too much to make the playoffs...

Clippers are so unlucky. 4th best record in basketball and they are playing at least a top 5 team in the first round. It'll all fall on CP3 if they lose early, again.

BTW, top 4 seeds are winning in the East. I've got Spurs and Clippers as dead even, but otherwise I'm thinking the other 3 top seeds in West win. Grizz are 2nd most likely to upset.

I forgot Matthews is out. IMO, he is Portland's 2nd best player. Switching my pick to the Grizz.

Matthews is out. Afflalo and Batum are ailing. Aldridge has been playing on a torn ligament. Portland's bench is already thin enough as it is. They honestly drew the worst matchup possible, as Memphis will wear them out physically.

I didn't know about Afflalo and Batum, but the Blazers are seriously deep. Without Aldridge they still have 4 solid bigs, and without Matthews, they still have 4 solid wings. I wouldn't be surprised if they won, but Grizz is definitely the smart pick.

The thing that would hurt the Blazers the most is playing Aldridge if he's worthless.

It won't surprise me to see Portland make a series out of it, but as a Grizz fan, the Grizz drew its best matchup possible in the first round.

That Gortat foul exhibited everything I hate about NBA officiating. They let Derozan carry, and when he plowed into Gortat, Gortat didn't sell it so it was a blocking call and not a charge. The refs practically beg for flopping.
