2015 NBA Playoff Thread

Funny thing is, I never liked MJ or the Bulls.

On the flip side, I bought a Lebron jersey on draft day despite being a Pacers fan.

People probably think I like MJ more than Lebron but the truth is I don't even care about the Cavs or their fans since they've always been irrelevant. Now the Bulls and their fans, that team I have a blind hatred for. Difference is, MJ never acted like Lebron and therefore while I learned to respect MJ, I've come to lose respect for Lebron.

The only reason Jordan never "acted like Lebron" is because he played in the prehistoric era, when it was still possible to mask what a complete a**hole he was. Say what you will about LeBron, but no question he's a far nicer guy and way better teammate than Michael Jordan was.

Maybe so. But Lebron is always playing both sides. On one hand he complains about how physical the game is(and the words said to him), on the other hand he flops without being touched. Which is it? Because he gets calls for playing the opposite of physical when he's choosing to flop.

Prehistoric? What am I, a dinosaur?

Maybe? Chris Bosh is.

My favorite was the one where Chris Bosh is looking into a mirror and he sees one of the land before time characters looking back at him. Can't find it though.

You started a ****tastic thread that me and Jerry had to rescue with a schizophrenic meltdown. That's all you've done.

****tastic? Nice. Also, the day I try to impress you and your buddy Jerry is the day I'll stop posting. Don't get excited, it'll be awhile.

No more than I am. I saw Jordan hit the shot to win the NCAA championship when he was a freshman at North Carolina, so I am ancient.

What I mean by "prehistoric" is the difference in media, both traditional and social. It's completely different than it was even 15 years ago. If Michael Jordan played now then everybody in the country would know what a huge jackass and a terrible teammate he was. Back then it was mostly under wraps.

Yeah, I know. I was trying to make the same point earlier.

Jordan wasn't any better about it. He b****ched about the fact that he ought to get superstar calls. He flopped. He smirked about it after he'd flopped and drawn a bad call. The only difference between modern flopping and Jordan-era flopping is that we didn't have YouTube back then for everybody to call Jordan on it.
