2015 NBA Playoff Thread

People may be stupid about Jordan but Lebron fans are just as bad, worse if you ask me. Hopefully you're only laughing because of the age gap and not because you're confident Lebron would take Jordan in his prime. If you believe Lebron would take Jordan in his prime, I pose a question to you...

Who would you say was the 2nd best player on the Mavs when they knocked off Lebron, Wade, and Bosh? Was it Jason Terry? Shawn Marion? Tyson Chandler? Other than Dirk, the team was pretty mediocre and old. And other than Dirk/Terry's offense and Marion/Chandler's defense, everyone else was basically role players. Kidd at that point was only putting up like 8-5-3 during the series. DeShawn Stevenson was starting even though he's terrible. JJ Barrea was logging starter minutes even though he sucks. Peja Stojakovic could only stand in the corner a few minutes a game. The Mavs were even giving Brendan Haywood and Brian Cardinal meaningful minutes as their back up bigs.

Now, I ask you... do you for one second think Jordan would have ever lost to that Mavs team? If your answer is yes... :bad:

Dude, Jordan is the best player I've ever seen play. I've always been pretty adament about that. 1on1 vs LBJ, there's a good chance LBJ could just back him down over and over.

Maybe so. When I meant take Jordan in his prime though, I meant a Jordan led team vs. a Lebron led team. Jordan has had studs, Lebron has had studs. It seems to me if you interchange the two in place of one another on a roster, that the Jordan team would be better imo. Obviously that's an opinion and can't be proven but when I look at the loss to the Mavs, I don't think MJ would have ever let the Heat lose that series. Mavs from a talent stand point shouldn't have won that series as basically everyone will tell you Lebron is better than Dirk and that at worst, Bosh or Wade would be the 2nd best player on the Mavs. Some people would tell you that Wade and or Bosh are better than Dirk as well. So why'd they lose, because of Chandler? I know the Heat's size was an issue but we're talking about Dirk playing center as well Brian Cardinal logging minutes. It's not like Mavs had amazing bigs to counter the Heat and they definitely weren't as star studded. So yeah, I just look at the Heat's loss to the Mavs and question if Jordan with Lebron's Heat roster would have lost also because I'd find it hard to believe. He's beaten better teams than that countless times.

Rodman > Bosh. Pippen > Wade. (At least before Wade prematurely became an old man).

You may have just won the Internet. Best argument I've heard about the LeBron/ Jordan battle.

I would say that I don't believe Jordan could have beat the Spurs with him leading the Heat.

Yeah because those 2 scenarios clearly have the same level of possibility.

They do. 0%

If you think Lebron could beat the Warriors, Clippers or Rockets without Love and Irving, well... here's a dollar, you need it more than I do probably.

Maybe so.

But again, I don't think Jordan, Wade and Bosh lose to Dirk, Terry and Chandler.

I'm not even sure why Lebron, Wade and Bosh lost to Dirk, Terry and Chandler.

TOP gets so mad about Lebron I love it. Single handily ended the Pacers hopes and dreams and TOP will never recover. Pretty funny actually.

No, the Cavs chances would still be higher than you ever having a shot at Ariana Grande; unless that's what you call your right hand. Which in that case, you've already won.

You might be right. Jordan was a very special athlete. You just need to remember that he wasn't always winning titles. He scored over 60 points in one game, against the best defense in the league, and lost...not only lost, but got swept. LBJ brought a bunch of barely NBA players to the finals.

So Lebron odds of 0% are better than my odds of 0%.

Interesting.

Guys clearly Delladova>>>>Pippen. Pippen is just a scrub compared to Kangaroo Matt.

Lol.
I actually think Pippen gets a tad bit too much credit. He was a great player, but he wasn't always reliable. He did wipe MJ's azz for him against the Sonics.

Get outta here with those facts!

Ben, could you or Huff get in here so I can stop defending Lebron against someone that watched Jordan less than I did.

What have I even said about the game tonight?

Funny that a bandwagon fan would talk down to a loyal fan for following a team regardless if they're good or not. Are you as loyal to your girlfriends as you are Lebron? Because it's kind of odd for grown men to be so infatuated with another grown man. I on the other hand am infatuated with a team, city and logo regardless of the players that come through. Doesn't matter if it's Reggie Miller or Mike Dunleavy. Same can't be said for Lebron fans. They don't even have a favorite team, just a favorite man.

Damn 4 freakin times bulls didnt beat a james playoff team in the playoffs.

At least the cubs are doing great.
