2015 Longsuffering UK Football Fan Thread of Misery

I grew up in Texas so I'm sort of a rare UK fan who likes football more than basketball...

have a friend in bowling green that is the same way He is a high school football ref, and he is a bigger fan of UK football than basketball.

There aren't many of us but we end up hating more UK fans than anyone because everyone always slurps basketball all the time

I was correct on the record, but incorrect on my thoughts about LB and the OL. The OL was the worst part of this team. They just didn't give either QB any time to throw. If you can't throw, you can't move the ball. And, I think the 2nd half of the Louisville game showed how bad they were without JoJo and Boom.

Time for basketball season.

Bottom line: Mediocrity (again) this year, probably 5-7, but possibly squeaking into a bowl.

LB is a position with biggest questions. DL has some big shoes to fill after the loss of Zadarious and Bud Dupree.

OL should be stronger and deeper than it has been in a while.

Towles was just named as the clear-cut starter by Stoops. He finally has some talented options to pass to, and with JoJo Kemp and Boom Williams in the backfield, they could put some numbers up.

Once again I'm not mad at the 5-7...but the way we lost four VERY winnable games was pretty pathetic. We were probably a 4 or 5 win team the way we played, but once again so many little plays add up to a very disappointing season overall.

I was excited for 2014. Optimistic for 2015's potential. But 2016 looks to be an extremely painful season for everyone.
