Amazing what a difference in recruiting services makes. Rivals sounds so much better than 247 in this case.

Is this guy friends with Skal ? Skal tweeted congrats to him , then Schofield was telling him he needed to come to Tennessee too

I guess the wait and see approach will be needed. Getting a Skal or a top 150 Big is ultra important. Could care less what Tyndall has done in the past, Tn has been a tough place to recruit for some coaches. His next few recruits need to be game changers.

Why do we need a big ? We have Woodson , Carmichael , McGee , Owens , Reese , Moore . PG is our most pressing need

We don't need a big in class IMO

At least one quality Big. Not banking on Woodson...yet.

Woodson would definitely be eligible next season, so I'm not sure what you mean by not banning on him?

Carmichael, Owens and Woodson are all best fits at the 5's, 2 freshman and 1 sophomore, we are just fine in the post going forward. If you could get Skal obviously you take him, but if we've got 1 scholarship left a big is definitely not where it should go.

Not sure Owens is SEC ready yet. Seems a bit under weight. As for Woodson if he can stay out of trouble he has a lot of potential, but trouble seems to find this young man for some reason. Perhaps Knoxville will be a better environment for him. We'll see. Point guard is the most important spot... seems like it has always been dating back to Pearl.

Looks like he has a quick release and gets off the floor well on his jumper. That jumper is wet, and I hope will bust some SEC zones in the future.

Welcome aboard Admiral. Feel free to bring in an Avery Johnson with ya.

I think we need a big, too. You can't count on Woodson from year to year, and Moore and even Reese are not bigs. I agree that we need a PG, but I thought that would be addressed with the other scholarships.

Would I take Skal, well heck yea, but I wouldn't take another project type big. You've got Carmichael, Owens and Woodson all on scholarship and all with at least 3 years of eligibility, maybe you take a 4, but I wouldn't take a 5, and I think Schofield likely plays 4 so he would fit that mold IMO.

I've heard him being considered a PF as well. He's got a good frame on him and has the potential to put quality muscle as well. Add in that jumper and he's a good combo forward with the potential to be a stretch 4 with physicality.
