It's 21-21, end of 3rd, and USC is about to score to go up 28-21. This game had "heartbreaking loss" written all over it.

Butch better get this turned or I'm going to wonder if he's the answer.

And now we just gave up another TD. Down by 2 TDs in the fourth. I'm Going to bed... ☺

The season needs to start! And what a force pig is! People always seem to overlook the guy but he is electric. Heck he almost won the game for us against Georgia two years ago In neyland.

How lucky am I? Finally able to turn it on and its SC kicking off after their last TD. Perfect

I hope Barnett and O'Brien know how lucky they were. In all reality, that flag that didn't get thrown would have cost us the game. I like the edge that Barnett plays with, but I hope it doesn't bite us this season.

I watched every minute of it again and it never gets old.

The attitude of never give up that buTch has in them now is a huge swing from what it was when he got here.

Quitters never win, Winners never quit!

We really got away with one on that. If the refs caught that it would've been game over.

Watching it again last night, it looks like the ref did see it and just flat out denies Thompson the penalty. You can actually see him and Thompson lock eyes right after it happens and the ref just shakes his head twice as if to say "nah, you've been flopping all night, no flag for you."

I have to say, rewatching this, I love the fight in our team, but it does remind me we had some serious breakdowns in coverage from the Defensive backs. They have really got to get a handle with the nickel. This is not a new concept. Been around for decades. Almost every big play SC offense had was a missed coverage.

Hope we can stop having so many breakdowns in coverage this year.

I think the same thing every time I watch it and that's been about 6 times now...Tennessee should not have won that game and wouldn't have in previous years.

28-21 heading into the 4th quarter while on the road looked like a done deal as-is, let alone 42-28 with 5 minutes to go.

I really think it was the most important win for the program since the 1999 Fiesta Bowl.

You really think so? I would tend to agree more with you had they ran the table (beat Mizzou).
