2014 Junior Days Visitor List

Looking through the profiles of the visitors for the coming Junior Days and it appears that we are getting some really nice players to campus. Most of these guys are Rivals top 250 and many are top 100.

Jones has really raised the bar.

yes it does seem like every non-state-of-TN player is a really big time prospect - good to get these guys on campus early in the process

I saw on twitter that Torrance Gibson mentioned
Coming on March 1st. As long as Andrew Butcher was gonna be there...

One of the earlier posters talked about CBJ raising the bar on recruiting in 2015. Just one look at the "2015 Commit/ Recruit" lists gives a clear picture of where we are headed with CBJ and staff. The list is almost all 4* and above. The few 3*s are all highly regarded and may be 4* when it is all said and done. We need to give CBJ credit for making the Vols a destination of choice now. Gotta love it!!!

Coming up this Saturday (2/15) from Brentwood Academy (per the coach that is giving them a ride to Knoxville):

Dawson Knox
(QB but no Rivals profile) I think this kid will be great this year. Great wheels and an accurate arm.

*supposed to be playing in a basketball tournament this weekend but apparently he's skipping that to make the trip

Are they still going to have junior day this weekend? I hope so, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is cancelled due to all this weather.

Good question. IMO things should be cleared enough to have it, but safety is way more important than having it this weekend. Postponing it wouldn't be a huge deal IMO, but I think it happens

I hope they can have it. The problem with rescheduling is a lot of those kids that plan on being here may not be able to make it if it is postponed. Then again, they very well could cancel this weekend as well because of the weather. Tough call for sure.

This would be huge! To get him on campus around the current players and other future recruits could really push us up closer to OSU.

On possibly cancelling Junior Day this weekend...

It's very unlikely they are going to cancel it now. Sun is shining in Knoxville and weather is good through the weekend.

We will have a list of guys that are expected in this weekend in the War Room. It's not a big list, but there are some good players expected in this weekend.
