Might light it up, might sit on the end of the bench 4 years.

Swiper did have some hs stats.
Only thing I've seen on Allen is fresh/Soph 13.9 and that don't say lights out.
U seen anything more recent?

Not sure how accurate that is bc it has him 31 out of 29 shots for.069%. Also all of his other teammates stats are messed up even worse than that.

I did find box scores from his last three games where he scored 13, 17, and 20 points but only made 1 3 ptr but it did not list how many shots he tried or % made. I did find two other articles where it showed that he scored 28 and 29 points in a couple of games but no other stats were listed.

Either one would help this class tremendously. Might mean Stokes is gone or maybe Q/Reese would've been gone but I'd love to have either one on the team.

Why does Martin recruit at the mid major level??
Does he know we are a BCS school and need BCS talent, if you look at this kid he is solid shooter but he cant guard and not athletic enough to play in BCS I feel.
I took a look back at our roster and who else recruited our guys other then Martin and they were all schools at the mid major level - we need to step it up.

How could Pearl get guys here but Martin cant???????

He's a 3* per 247 with a nice offer list, he could be the next Doug McDermott only shorter.....

They don't have shooters.. Don't know if he will get an offer, just depends on what Rashad Vaughn does... It may be too late by then.

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in...I've been hard on Martin this year because quite frankly he hasn't had the year that many of us expected, at least yet. People complain that we never have any shooters and then when a shooter pops up and is interested in us everyone points to the the stars by his name...yeah he's not athletic and his defense will need work, but that didn't stop Pearl giving McBee a chance. This kid is a couple inches taller than McBee and he looks like he can actually shoot off the dribble and isn't a strictly a catch and shoot shooter.

This kid reminds me of when we play a mid major type school (similar to WSU this year) when Ron Baker takes the court and lights us up. Give me this type of a player over and athletic kid that can't shoot but only dunk.

Hopefully we land him and CCM can show Justice that he can use a shooter in his system. As much as I hate the motion offense. It really does get shooters open.

Just saying.. Travis Bader from Oakland is about to break the record books and he only had one D1 offer. You really can't judge a shooter from highlight tapes.

This guy would definitely fill a roll we will need on next year's team. I'd be fine with taking him.

Okay athlete. I would say he's better than Skylar McBee. Does have long arms and seems to be able to take contact and keep going.

Dribbling is decent. Stays low to ground, keeps his head up. Has the ability to get in the paint with either hand.

I like his shot. A lot of moving parts, but he has a very quick release and always gets his body squared. He does have that Lofton-esque ability to create separation with his shot and get a cleaner look. Gets good arc on the shot, some nice rotation. Always has his hands high and looks consistent.

It seemed like he does a lot of ball handling for his team. At Tennessee, he wouldn't have to do that very much.

I think he can be a valuable piece for the program. Come in the first two years as a 10-15 minute a game shooter off the bench and develop enough defensively as a starter.

I think this is a spot-on analysis. We need good shooters. He looks to be able to handle that. As you stated, he wouldn't have to handle the ball as much at UT, but could be an effective player both inside and outside for our Vols it seems. I think we need all the help we can get.

If we had a guy that could consistently hit the three every game I think we would have three four more wins this season. One game we hit 18 of 29 and the next 2 of 29.

Just a FYI, head coaches don't go out to evaluate players during the biggest part of their season unless they're very interested.

For what it's worth, Butch just signed a kid in this years class from the same school and very good friends with Allen. He's also friends with Larry Austin. Not sure it's been mentioned in the 17 pages.
