Read that Looney did indeed have a great visit but no commitment and still going to visit Michigan St and UCLA but Vols certainly helped themselves.

No big news here but hearing that Kevin Looney had a great visit this weekend. No commitment and as I understand it he is still going to visit Michigan State and UCLA.

Feeling I have gotten is that Vols really helped themselves but obviously they're facing some stuff competition.

We will be doing our best to get in touch with Looney but not holding our breath there, he has been very quiet to say the least for the last six weeks.

If Cuonzo pulls this off... Wow it would be amazing. Trying not to get my hopes up but it does seem like our chances are getting better and better.

Me, too. When the talk about Black was heating up, I still thought the Vols had a better chance at Looney. This is a guy who has followed the Vols since the Pearl era, has a connection with Jeronne, actually has people in his family who aren't repulsed by East Tennessee (unlike almost any Memphis product) and he has connected with Cuonzo. The Vols have a lot to overcome in battling Duke, but they also have a lot of advantages, too.

Wow, excuse me for forgetting a players name. I follow both sports heavily, just forgot who that was. I knew it wasn't any if the guys in his (Looney) class. You guys are some sad people. Hate on me for drawing a blank. Lol

But I should have known that, considering his dad played for my favorite NBA team for years. Once again please don't hate me for not being able to think of who he was, so many names in football recruiting and basketball. Wish I could be as awesome as you guys.

Yeah I could, but I thought I would ask my fellow vol brethren but it seems the majority just want to hate on people. And thanks for just saying who it was without being a dick about it. I really do follow both men's bball and football a lot, just couldn't come up with who he was.

Cool? Who is trying to be cool? Nobody cares or hates you dude. You can stop being butt hurt. I just found it funny. Google works though. I'm sure the same day Robert Hubbs committed AJ Davis did as well and it was all over the message board. I'm gonna go back to being cool as you say.

I'm going to so pissed if we finish a close 2nd for Looney. Story of our lives. Let's hope CCM gave Looney enough reason to pick the Vols!
