I think technically Indy can pay him and stay under the cap now that Granger is off the payroll, but IIRC it would mean that Scola would definitely have to go and be replaced by somebody much cheaper.

Big game two win for the Heat to even the series. Close game all night long, and I don't think there was a double digit lead on either side the entire game. I am a little surprised the pacers didn't try to get a quick two at the end though to pull within 2 and chose instead to shoot a 30 foot jumper at the very end.

I don't think Game 1 was necessarily a fluke for the Pacers. They present a lot of difficult matchups for Miami and were right there in the 4th quarter with a good shot to win the game. IIRC, the two teams have evenly split their meetings over the past two seasons, so Indiana winning a game against the Heat is definitely not a "one game wonder".

I don't think Game 1 was necessarily a fluke for the Pacers. They present a lot of difficult matchups for Miami and were right there in the 4th quarter with a good shot to win the game. IIRC, the two teams have evenly split their meetings over the past two seasons, so Indiana winning a game against the Heat is definitely not a "one game wonder".

Not to mention they've been playing respectable ball for 6 of their last 7 games, so they might've snapped out of their funk. They almost won last night with PG and West playing poorly.

PG diagnosed with a concussion last night and has to sit till he's symptom free. Thank God for the long layoff between games 2 and 3. Also, Lance Stephenson was fined 5k for flopping.
