2014 Damn NBA Playoffs Thread

I don't see easiest target and most hated as the same thing really. I see easiest target as someone media and fans criticize the most, doesn't really make them hated.

I agree with Dwight, Blake, Kobe and Melo. IDK about Wade, he seems to get a free pass a lot. Russ is to blame for everything in OKC. Rose is an easy target cause he hasn't played in a decade. Hibbert has become an easy target, Lance too.

Scottie Brooks? The only people who blame Westbrook seem to be myself and Memphis fans. You're closer to the OKC fan base than I am tho

I kind of like Max Kellermans idea for flopping. Have a guy there just to look at plays for flopping, if someone flops they get penalty minutes or an immediate foul. Would definitely cut down on it fast.

Get benched for two minutes after flop.
Would be similar to being put in penalty box in hockey except no more players advantage.

Watch SportCenter national media is all over the guy every time they lose. KD on the other hand probably gets the biggest pass in the league. The fan base definitely blames Brooks more, and of course Perk. Lol

Edit: I see why you thought I meant OKCs fanbase, bad wording on my part.

Yesterday Cowherd was talking about how Durant was the 3 most important player for OKC against San Antonio. When Ibaka came back it changed the series, Russ was #2 and the 2nd best player in the league was 3rd.

Btw,i still think there's a pretty large gap between LeBron and KD.

Well Cowherd is a smart man, Bomani defends Russ a lot too. On a whole though KD is pretty immune to criticism, and it's usually deflected at Russ. Playing with KD increases the blame Russ takes, if he switched places with Rose he would get praised for what he does. IMO

I agree with there being a big gap.

I've been saying that for years. They are essentially the same player.

Inb4 Huff posts some stats to say we're wrong.

I thought KD had the better season, but not by much and there is no way I'd ever take KD over Lebron.

Rose and Westbrook are pretty similar players (when healthy). Rose is a better decision-maker but Westbrook is a better athlete and defender. If you put Westbrook on that 2011 Bulls team, he probably wins MVP. I didn't think Rose deserved it, though.

Apocalypse post. IMO :)

The Knicks got great news way to late.
But I guess if it avoids them from sucking in the first round, and the false impression that they had the right head coach it was better even though the wound is still going to take months to heal.

LOL, I may be in my own world for player evaluations, but I know how the establishment works. Admitting Westbrook could win MVP and saying he deserves one are not the same thing.

Yeah but you said better athlete and defender. Should I mail you a Russ jersey? Lol
