Not to be negative, but I was very disheartened when I saw that Vic Wharton is not even rated on the recruiting sites. I kept scrolling and scrolling down the 3*'s and was like where the he ll is this guy. I had to type his freakin name in to find him and saw "NR". Why all the hoopla over this kid? He looks like a little kid that plays for Karns. There I thought we were starting off solid for 2014, only to be disappointed as usual.

Heard Coach Doug Matthews yesterday say that recruiting was going extremely well. Said that everybody feels very good about the 7 public verbals that we currently have. However, he said we actually have 12-15 "in the fold" right now and that the coaches have asked a few of them not to go public yet, for various reasons, maybe cause they're recruiting other players at the same position, etc.

Felt very, very good about recruiting, Butch and the staff. Not so good about the current talent level, depth, prospects for winning a whole lot this year and next.
