The dashboard/gauge cluster looks absolutely awful. Still prefer the looks of the current Ford 150's exterior as well.

I like it. I've got an 07 4 Dr Sierra and have been thinking about getting something else. But, I may wait for these to come out and get 4WD GMC.

They look good. I like how they did away with the suicide door on the extended cab models. I can't wait for al the specs to come out on them(curb weight, hp,trim levels).

I was raised a Chevy guy but Ford is making a lot better looking trucks these days.

That GMC body is not appealing at all.

those big, square fender flares look as dumb on the full size pickups as they do on the GMC Terrain

What would it take to get a small diesel in the Canyon and Colorado? We have been needing this for years, don't know what the dam hold-up is.

Reviews/thoughts on previous generation? I'm looking at an '11 GMC Sierra ext cab 4x4.

Also considering gen previous to that (03 ish) but hard to find anything with under 100K miles.

Idk about the '11 GMC's other than they look good and get great reviews, but I have an 04 Avalanche w/o cladding which is basically the same as a Silverado and it has been the best vehicle I've ever owned.

Absolutely love the avalanches. Much better than the sport tracs that Ford puts out.

I had an '09 Sierra Denali. Fantastic truck. The thing was like a Cadillac.

Says whom?

Regardless, the point remains; the Ridgeline is not a truck.

rampant speculation on my part

despite it not being a truck, it is still a better vehicle than either the Avalanche or the Sport-Trac

btw, this is my opinion. I've always thought the Avalanche was a grotesque bastardization of a Tahoe/Suburban. The ridiculous plastic cladding that covered it's early models reminded me way too much of the Pointiac Aztek.

I agree with you on the early model avalanche, but the newer ones are much nicer. My sport trac has been a great vehicle also. It's an 01 model and I haven't had a single problem out of it.
