The Hamilton Wildcats are one of the early favorites to win this years title with two of the top players in the nation in 66 junior Keelon Lawson and his sophomore brother 68 Dedric Lawson. Both averaged double-doubles for Hamilton last season with Keelon going for 22 points and 11 rebounds per game and Dedric 21 points and 14 rebounds.
Dedric is ranked as the No. 4 sophomore in the country and Keelon amongst the top 20 juniors. Keelon Lawson is already headed to Memphis and Dedric is also being hotly pursued by the Tigers along with Kentucky, Kansas and Louisville.
Very surprising. Shot 60% from the floor, you can beat anybody that way. They beat Mentor, a nationally ranked program, at it's style game. Amazing to see. Brandon Fritts from Mentor, Early Enrolling to play Football at UNC was key for the OR win, He'd of battled down low, and been a bigger presence on the boards in general. Mentor was one and done most possessions. 3 point teams can't be that way, they feast on Offensive Rebounds and kickouts. Great win for OR tho!
Isiah Wilkins the stepson of Dominique was a beast. The kid with one arm Zack something was one of the best pure shooters I have seen in a long time. Good tournament.
