This is how SEC teams rank according to their average recruiting class rankings for the last four years according to Rivals. The analysts may be overlooking Auburn. Incidentally, Oregon's average recruiting class ranking is 15, same as Tennessee.

1. Alabama 2
2. Florida 5.25
3. Auburn 7.25
4. LSU 9
5. Georgia 11
6. Tennessee 15
7. Texas A&M 17.5
8. South Carolina 19.25
9. Mississippi 21
10. Arkansas 33.5
11. Mississippi State 34.5
12. Missouri 35.25
13. Vanderbilt 44.5
14. Kentucky 50.5

Does that mean we're gonna tie with Oregon?

I am sure they did not consider the active roster. Just the average class rankings. With the number of top * players leaving early / booted, we would end up way down!

It would make more sense to compare the star rankings of the two deep. This way you account for attrition. We've already lost most of our sophmore class.

This, we have 3 players left from Kiffin's top 10 class. subtract those numbers and where are we?

Really shows how much that doesnt matter. Vandy I think went 9-4 and has the longest winning streak in the SEC, A'M went to Tusc and beat Ala and really could have bean FL and LSU. S.Carol is much better than #8. Definitely not an exact science. More important is what the Coach's can do with the talent they have
