I am excited that the players we have committed truly wants to be a VOL and hopefully they are motivated by everyone saying this class is a bust. Lets go Butch! Lets go Vols!

He had two months to recruit man give the guy a break. He was recruiting for Cinny the whole entire year up until two months ago. Some of you guys need to grow up seriously. The University of Tennessee wasn't built byone player and it dam sure isn't gonna be broken by one.

So did Auburn. Ole miss kicking butt, all sec teams pulling in big time recruits but us....North was already coming here due to Dooley's staff. So sick of excuses. This class is not good, not great. Near last in the sec in recruiting ought to put us on the map in a hurry. Same old ****, different day imo.

Not a fair comparison with Auburn, b/c they won a recent NC and the OC that got them there is the new HC. That's continuity that UT cannot sell.

There's always an excuse for why its not working at Tennessee.

Wow! Bell literally brought down the server.

I had a bad feeling when the UT site started a segment on the nutritionist right when Bell was announcing. F***!!!!

They are trying hard to manage the bad news, control the conversation and keep things positive. That Carr announcement happened immediately after the Bell announcement.

Jordan Cunningham just proved he isnt smart enough to go to Vandy. He said they will win an SEC championship in the next few years.

I guess if UF, UGA, and SC suddenly drop off the planet they have a shot...

You realize they can recruit in state in ALABAMA, its a little different recruiting Tennessee

Their biggest recruits are from Georgia. Tennessee has a lack of talent depth yes but 8 out of the top 10 players in Tennessee are commiting to other schools. Blame whoever you want but overall this is pitiful.

Kind of strange that our list on Rivals is up to date as far as Letters of Intent.. 17 of 19. Checking on Dobbs and only 2 of their players show LOI sent in... strange. Waiting for him to show up on either list and hoping we snag him. I could see him starting over Worley. Maybe not in the fall, but definitely the next year.

I believe Bama has produced a few good two stars over the past few years. Could be wrong.

We got some good players people. It's not all doom and gloom. Let's just hope that Butch Jones and this staff can coach better then the last staff and win some football games. 4 coaching changes and 3 losing seasons is the reason why these kids aren't choosing UT. We win some games this upcoming season and we will be celebrating this time next year.

Im not gonna devalue the players we have because of dropping Bell. You all act like he was the only one we really wanted. We are lucky to have any. Welcome the ones that want to be here. Forget the rest.

This one is on Dooley, not Jones, but next year he has to win these battles. I like what I see so far from Butch, he seems to get the off the field side of things. Still, though, he's an offensive coach in a league that wins with defense. I don't think these guys will ever have a problem scoring points or pulling offensive recruits. Sure he's won everywhere he's been, but the SEC difference is defense. In those other leagues, you can with offense first. That doesn't work so well in the SEC.

There is enough talent on this roster to win 7 games next year. That is a must if he wants to pull all the legacies and have a top class next year, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. I like this staff except Jancek. Martinez is fine as a position coach, but my fear is that bringing Jancek with him is what will cost him. UGA's defenses with those guys were pathetic, and that was with good talent. I'd be willing to bet that a better DC pulls at least Bell in this class.
