2013 OFFICIAL SIGNING DAY THREAD!!! (first post will be updated)

I'm a teacher, and I want you guys to know that Smart Board technology has never been put to better use. For those of you that don't know what that is, it's an interactive white board that shows like a computer screen. I have one in may classroom that is acting as an automatically refreshing commitment board. Is it the best way to go about it, probably not. Is it keeping me informed? Absolutely.

I'm a teacher too, currently trying to keep up with all this as well as manage a room full of high schoolers. Using the Smart Board is brilliant, be right back :)

Because I'm still a Vol fan. Because I still like to keep up with who we get. Just because I refuse to be happy about our class just for the sake of the day doesn't make me any less of a fan. Sorry but having the #30 ranked class is no cause for celebration IMO.

Your still a fan I guess. You're also a whiner as well. Go cry somewhere else. This is a happy day and thread. Vent your life problems on UT somewhere else.

I'm sure this has been discussed ad nauseum but why, in this day and age, are they still using fax machines for NSD?

wonder who/why the staff would hide two faxes? I was thinking one might be Trey Johnson. I was wrong

I wish they'd phase them out. I hate fax machines and we still have to use them pretty frequently at work with all the signatures/documentation required. It's still the easiest way to document those sadly with all of the cyber security problems

I assume it's still considered the fastest and seemingly most "legal" method. Though PDF e-mails would work fine I would think.

-Fax machines are still pretty ubiquitous among high schools (and other businesses).
-You don't have to worry about marrying disparate technologies (PDFs or other formats).
-Now that NSD is a spectacle, it's a more "visual" submission than an e-mail.

How's that? :)
