I think as Vol fans there is always skepticism. Let's let rival team posters point that out though, so we can rightfully bash them. Once in awhile, of course state your negative opinion. However, the constant, constant, constant, nerdiness, nerdiness, nerdiness, b1tchy, b1tchy, b1tchy, inquisitions is tiresome. There are non Vol boards to do that on. You make it seem Bruin is doing a favor for every one. I assure you, it is not like he is Skeeter, or any other reliable posters getting run out of dodge. Bruin needs to go to a public NCAA board, or a SEC board. :salute:

Bruin is fine, he needs facts before he will believe in anything nothing wrong with that. He recieved all kinds of negative comments in the gruden thread but you see how that turned out. How you been bruin? Havent been able to get on much lately.

I disagree, sometimes you need the truth. Bruin wants the best for the vols just like me and you. He doesnt get his hopes up on gossip though. Dont fault him for wanting facts, he is still a vol fan.

I don't agree with everything Bruin says for sure and he will attest to that. I can also understand how people get tired of his negativity. I get just as tired of the posters that take anything and try to spin it to be positive no matter the negative light that it is presented in. People just set themselves up for disappointment. Bruin's been around long enough for people to realize he is a skeptic. I know which posters are the sunshine pumpers and I take their post with a grain of salt as some should with Bruin. After all they're just opinions. :hi:

I KNOW he is a Vol Fan. We need positiveness. We did not win 6 games last year. Why be negative? We are there already. I mean Bruin is like this with EVERY recruit. If we were back in the day, sure lay it out there. If we are one of these current SEC powerhouses, yes, be like that. We are recruiting 3 star players now (as 4 and 5 before I get flamed), of course they don't have the gusto other SEC teams are acquiring. As a fan, let us root on these inquiries? No?

I don't think it is a matter of his Dad being untruthful. That is not something to hope for. It is a matter of North deciding that Tennessee is the right place for him, despite UNC having a few advantages.

What did Bruin say that's so reprehensible? Most of us considered North a UT lean. North's dad said otherwise. He's exactly right: either we've all been wrong for the last two months, or North's dad is playing games.

It's not b-tching or negative. It just is what it is. We apparently have some ground to make up, and hopefully Butch Jones is doing just that.

This site is hilarious sometimes. Almost every kid who is uncommitted or going to another school is a Vol lock on NSD, but almost every kid currently committed to UT is ready to bolt at first opportunity. I don't even know what to call that mentality, lol.

He's going to wear a UNC cap on NSD, BUT a random person will run up and slap it off his head. Realizing that the universe acted to prevent him from not attending UT, he will then quickly change his mind and don an orange Tennessee hat.

I don't follow anybody. I've disagreed with his opinion any number of times in the past, but now isn't one of those times.

Look, I'm far from a Negavol. I'm absolutely stoked for this year's NSD, I'm high on Butch Jones and I'm really looking forward to seeing him on the sidelines next year. It just seems to me that putting one's hands over one's ears and yelling "LALALALA" isn't the smartest way to react to a new interview with the kid's father.

Jones is in position to change that stance. There's a big difference between football in the SEC and football in the ACC, and if this kid is the best then he should come play against the best. But Jones has some work to do. For the record, I'm confident that he will.
