2012 will be Dooleys last year

I hesitate to comment on the same day we lost to a very, very bad KY football team....but after watching and listening to Dooley's comments after the game....I wouldn't be that surprised if he was gone next year. This team was not prepared. This team was not ready to play 60 minutes of hard, straight ahead football. These players did not compete to the best of their ability for whatever reason. The players should feel very badly (and I hope they do) for their own uninspired, lackadaisical, and lazy play today, but whatever it is a coaching staff CAN do to motivate players for a game was not done very well at all this week ....that's on him and all the coaches.

It has been a very long time for me since posting on this board. I know it is a seemingly young crowd posting on here these days, but what i have to say aint good. I am a long time big orange fan, and the last time UK beat us, I was 16 yrs old. Todays effort was the worst I have ever seen from a UT football team. The coaches and the players should without a doubt be extremely embarrassed. I am not calling on anybody to be fired cause it aint my place. And it is not just the coaches fault for the poor play. These kids gotta start playing for the T on their helmet instead of the name on their backs. Tennessee has a great football tradition, and we will get back to those days again. Go big Orange!!! Enough Said

I said I would check out next year if CDD started the "young team" thread all over, but it's more likely that he will get at least a new OC, maybe a QC and some coaching help in the defensive secondary and I'll get to stay the whole season.

This is misery, though.
