We got a so many new coaches and IMO we upgraded tremendously. Look at our roster right now guys... look at how many players contributed as Freshmen that are now going into their Junior year stronger,faster, and more experienced. Santos and Mccullers are just gave our D some real size in the middle and I could go on all day... I'm pumped and you should be too. What are ya'll most excited about in 2012?

AND negavols I know you see threads like this every year and guess what we're gonna keep posting them because having hope is better than being negative about everything.

What evidence do you have that Sunseri/whoever are better than Wilcox/Sirmon? Seems like wishful thinking to me.

2012 is when we'll know what we got. Our offense has the potential to be explosive, the defense is building more depth, and IIRC we'll have 19 starters back.

Yeah its gonna be really hard to be better on D in 2012 than we were in 2011. Wilcox had us shutting teams out left and right. What are we gonna do???

I was not enamored by Wilcox but he was doing a decent job. The idea that Sunseri is an instant upgrade over Wilcox and Sirmon smacks of homerism.

I am excited to see the offense this year. With Bray, Hunter, D. Rogers and possibly an improved OL and Running game! And of course A.J. Johnson and Curt Maggitt.

Rivals recruiter of year = CSS

Acc recruiter of year = Pittman

Seems like they are pretty well suited to replace sirmon/ Wilcox

The best day in a long time for our football team is Friday the 13th and we get rid of the black cloud following us the year the world is supposed to end. Sounds about right. GBO!

Well nothing is guranteed of course but given his resume and the fact that he's coming to us with Sec experience is huge to me. Wilcox wasn't horrible given the talent he had but for gods sake Blitz, keep 11 on the field, and just because we have alot of DB's doesn't mean they all have to be on the field at the same time. I feel really comfortable knowing this guy was under Saban in the Sec.

I feel really good about this hire. I'm already getting pumped for next season. We have the talent to make some noise.

It's amusing to me that if you disagree or have any sense of being realistic about topics on this board, you are labeled negative. It's reminiscent of the old Soviet Union.

No. I'm not happy go lucky with every topic that gets brought up but some posters are NEVER happy. Thats fine but maybe just let us have one thread where we can drink the kool aid in peace.
