Would seem so. Honestly, I've never felt good about patterson. When high profile guys are this quiet they usually do something unexpected. Neither Ole Miss or AU would surprise me here.

Skeeter thanks for the great info. Hope we can land at least 3 of the 4.

Skeeter, not that the staff need any help recruiting, but if at all possible can you let someone in the know look at this kid called Carl Lawson's video? There is a guy on TOS claiming to be his personal friend and that the kid is awaiting a Vol offer and that we are in his top 5 even without an offer. Both FL and AL offered this kid last week if that tells you anything. Apparently he is trained by a former Vol DL and that is why he is so high on the Vols. He is from Alpharetta, GA and i'm thinking he could have possibly been looked over due to staff turnover? Anyways check out his highlights, the kid looks unblockable Carl Lawson

Heard Hyams this afternoon talk about if we were to sign 25 guys that would put us over the 85 limit. He even said that Bullard counted. Is he just still far behind or is he right? Thanks

Hope Davis, KK, CP, and Leggett all sign with the Vols. It would make for an awesome finish. But, I thought we only had 3 spots. Of course, I'd take any 3 of these 4, if that's the case. I'll also be happy with any one of them, and can probably find a silver lining if we simply hold the ones we've got. If that's the outcome, it's still a solid year for CDD and staff wrt recruiting.

If they put up 8 or 9 wins this season, which seems pretty likely, the recruiting job should get a whole lot easier next year.

Bullard definitely counts toward the 85 if he goes on scholarship.

Leggett is all VOL as long as he can qualify. If he can't he will choose Marshall. Let's hope his grades pan out. IMO....Kirven will stay home....Borque will be at Miami....Peters signs with the VOLS because as a family...they like Tennessee. WR is crowded with Bowles, Croom, Howard and Q. Davis.....So, Patterson goes to Ole Miss or UGA because he only has 2 years and doesn't want to waste them behind great talent. This is only my opinion....We pick up Kirven, Leggett, and Davis....giving us 23 with Bullard giving us 24....back count 1....though we are still over the 85 by 2 scolly's....who does Dooley cut?

Kirven is my hope here....but I still think he stays home with family. I would want my son to stay home so I can see him play...J/S

Thanks for the concise update of who we have left on the board, Skeet! If we can at least pull 3 out of the 4 that are left, and one of those be Kirven, then we will have had a strong finish to our class.

CSS is the main reason, Kirven was most likely heading to Bama before the CSS hire. i know thats not what the homerized VT beat writers will say or want to hear, but its the truth.I dont know if they pulled it off or not, if i hear anything tomorrow i'll pass along what info i can. We all know its very tough pulling a kid from that area, and in the back of my mind im thinking Kirvens mom not making it here last week could hurt. Kirven will announce at 8:00am i believe, hopefully gets the ball rolling in our favor.

A Leggett- I think we end up taking this kid. This kid has bigtime talent and would be a great addition to the class.
I feel Tennessee believes they can get him in school and done a great job convincing Leggett as well. Leggett will
most likely make his thoughts public tomorrow.

Nothing earth shattering, just my thoughts 36 hours from nsd. This should be a pretty boring nsd as far as drama goes, i know we're not used to that.

True, but who's gonna throw him the ball? Better than Bray? I could see him going to GA, but Ole Miss? GA has a good QB and not much at WR. Of the four on the fence, IMO KK is the most important. You can get ATH, DBs and WRs easier than linemen. It's all about line play.

I'd take 2 of the 4 right now as long as one of them is Patterson or Kirven. Not sure what that would do to our ranking on Rivals. Be nice to finish in the top ten.

If we get Davis, Kirven, and Leggett...that would be one spot left right? If so what have you heard on Beniquez Brown as I keep hearing he is high on UT? Also any chance at Richie Brown?

In case anyone doesn't know, this is the hugh freeze that coached Michael Oher and literally leveraged his way into a job at Ole Miss during Oher's recruitment.

Kirven, Davis and Leggett.

Is what I am hoping for...Patterson is to much of a wild card to even start to begin hoping he will be a Vol.

I like no drama on NSD after what transpired last year.:wacko:

Someone above mentioned that Borque is headed to Miami..Has something happened since yesterday that I missed?? I went to bed early b/c of a headache..maybe I missed something..I hope not.:unsure:
