I am not trying to start a rumor here so please do not include me in any big fish or over excited rumor about him and UT.

So with that out of the way I would watch for this name to pop up if Sal does get hired as your DC as it looks to be happening today. He was recruited by Sal and has a great relationship with him. He was the one that really wanted to come to UA because of Sal but could not visit until Jan and when Devall commited we told him we were full at LB and canceled his visit. I heard he really wanted to play in the SEC and I know he really liked CSS.

This kid is as good as Santos and would probably see the field alot next year at UT if he decided to come. Again I have no idea if he would consider UT with CSS there but I would bet that CSS will contact him. He is commited to Rutgers but that was after UA turned him down.

I post this because I know the board will get flooded with every recruit UT thinks they can flip from UA or get that CSS has recruited. This is one name I think UT could land.

Maybe his speed and the fact he is very good in pass coverage. I have seen Lambert compared to CJ Mosley on one of our sites.FWIW

Definitely have to keep an eye on this one then. Would like to add as many fast, physical LB's as possible to the roster

He could still visit. Also Sal was recruiting Hamilton and Fuller early in the process from NJ but back in the summer it was believed that depth was a concern and why they never really looked at UA.

All very true. This hire is going to make the last 3 weeks of recruiting out of control. Knew names, rumors, big fish, etc. are going to be brought up every day. Good for Freak and VN.

He could be an immediate contributor in the 3-4. Hope Sal gives him a call, especially if we can't snag Richie Brown.

And this kid was a take for UA but it came down to him and Devall for the last LB spot and Devall commited first.

TW, what's the word on CJ? That was a horrible injury the other night and I felt for the kid. What's his recovery time?

What has been reported is his hip dislocated and popped back in. The last I heard is he will out about 6 weeks.
