Coaching staff made great inroads into GA and FL this year. I'd like to see them keeping that momentum up, and working on NC and VA hard this year. Lot of low-hanging fruit, ripe for the picking!

Anybody got any more information on this guy? His offer list doesn't look all that great. Maybe rivals hasn't updated it in awhile.

Dawson hasn’t seen much of Clemson, outside of what’s going on over at Memorial Stadium.

“I’m planning on going to junior day,” he said.

Along with that trip a trip to Tennessee.

Along with Clemson, Kentucky, Maryland, Louisville, North Carolina, N.C. State and Tennessee have offered

Claims all even sounds like a Clemson lean to me.

How the hell Clemson keeps getting high interest from all these elite players is beyond me. They just pulled two 5-Star LBs out of nowhere in the 2011 class and now they are in on talented 2012 LBs. I would really love to know how they do it.

Cash money. :loco:

Been evaluating some North Carolina prospects and he goes to the same High School as a fellow Rivals250 guy Germone Hopper. Both are Clemson leans to this point but Dawson does have interest in Tennessee

Currently holds a dozen offers with Auburn, Vandy, and Illinois being the most recent. Claims Clemson, Louisville, and Miami as his current leaders. He still wants to visit UT soon.

"I'm going to Clemson on Friday for a spring game," Dawson said. "After that I don't really know, but I want to get to Tennessee too. I'm not sure when the spring games are, but I know I will be going to a lot of them if they are on different days."

LB Nick Dawson (6-3 220) will commit to the Tigers the first of next week. "He's going to wait until the weekend is over," John Simmons of Berry Academy said. "His dad wants him to wait and go thru the whole weekend. He's got a track meet Saturday and combine Sunday. It probably will be Monday." Dawons also holds offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, North Carolina, Maryland, Illinois, NC State, Auburn, Miami, Vanderbilt and others. He had 113 tackles and an interception last season. "He's big and rangy and moves well for a kid his size," Simmons said. "He has a lot of weight to put on. He's going to be a monster once he puts i all together."

"I like Tennessee," Dawson said. "I've not gotten down there yet. I know the head coach came to our school last fall. I think we may be coming down there this weekend. We haven't finalized anything yet."

"I want a place with great history," Dawson said. "Academics are important to me because I want to go into engineering. I also want a great program and a great fan base. I know Tennessee has the biggest stadium in college football. I like the fans that are behind me."
