Really good conference, the focus was definitely on games. That's how it's done Microsoft.

I've never played a God of War game. This looks naughty.

Wii U hardware can support 2 separate gamepads

Also talking about "a-symmetrical gaming" - things where the gamepad player has a different role/goal than the other players

pad has headphone jack and volume control (control screen or pad volume), camera & microphone (for taking pictures, video chat)

I'm so tired of Nintendo's shtick. I used to love them, but ever since the end of the Gamecube era they've been all about gimmicks and less about great games. There are honestly only a handful of titles i've been interested in playing since the Wii first came out.

Somewhat surprising to want to talk about Scribblenauts during this presentation, but ok

Scribblenauts Unlimited

They really seem to be pushing the social/connected aspect today not that they have an online live/psn-like setup (might be closer to live's, of the two)

They've definitely focused on the casual gamer in recent years.

Moving over to possibly a casual line of stuff: Wii Fit U

Something from FreeStyle Games called sing...looks like just using the screen for karaoke

Also early, ties with Hulu Plus, Amazon Video, Youtube and one other I forget were announced
