The alabalammama ones look like somebody accidentally printed the light test shots for the upcoming shoot.

Our media guide used to be awesome with all the info they had in it. Now they've taken so much out of it that I don't think about buying one anymore.

You can thank the NCAA for that. They considered it an unfair recruiting advantage for the bigger schools who could afford to put out a 300+ page media guide. Apparently smaller schools didn't have the budget to be able to compete....yet Texas gets to televise hs football games on their ESPN network. Another example of hypocrisy by the 'AA.

It's supposed to look that way. A little abstract on the front cover.
You see that look/lighting on magazine covers and in photos a lot now...it's kind of the "in" thing to do.
Bama's marketing dept. tends to do what's trendy and leading edge type stuff with their marketing.

FWIW, I think Bama's ones looked pretty sweet. I liked this year's look more, though. Cool idea having the guy gameday-ready on the front and practicing on the back.

Would a mod please delete posts 33 and 37 please. Thanks in advance.

I don't think it works that way. Putting in requests like that. At least that's my understanding how messageboards work...unless a post violates forum rules.
Otherwise, I would be requesting people's posts being deleted all the time on messageboards I visit.

Anyway, that's why there is an image button when composing a post...to make images.

Yeah pretty cool. I liked UT's cover...I wanna say it was 2007's cover, but I'm not 100% on that.
Anyway, that was a pretty cool media guide cover for Tenn. that year.
