Sophomore Slump of the following players likely cause of 5-7 season? You make the call! The following players were sophomores or rs sophs.: Moore, Bray, Palardy, Hunter, Oliver, Brewer, Neal,Da'Rick Rogers, Gordon, Crump, Sapp, Couch, Fugate, Probst, King, J Smith, Walls, Stone, Gilliam, J James, Fulton, Bullard, Miller, and Ayres.

Not all are starters, some were injured, but the "curse of the sophomore" year was a rough one (also had mostly a "sophomore" coaching staff :) )

This year should be a big break out for these healed, healthy juniors.

It is great to be a Tennessee Volunteer!

Well you may have point other than Rogers, he didn't have much of a slump. And it might be pointed out that the sophomore slump is a term usually used for outstanding freshman and how they play in their sophomore years. So I don't know how many had outstanding freshman years, but I look forward to what they have to offer Rocky Top for their junior season!!

I don't think it was as much of a slump as it was the unreliability that you have with most underclassmen because they haven't been in the system very long.

It was Dooley's sophomore year too. He's gonna overperform this year and many years to come.
