An optomistic 8-4 or with some good luck 9-3.
Not really sure what UG returns, but having them, LSU and USC at home helps.

Really depends on recruiting.
Can we get some Jucos that can contribute right off the bat?
If not, looks like another 6-6 at best.

The schedule is a bit lighter, but once again they'll have to depend on freshmen to contribute and play a ton of minutes. They don't seem to be on too many juco's so i expect we'll see more of the same next year. Long term rebuild guys, no short cutting it now.

Our O will look pretty good on paper next year with the only real question mark at QB and of course that's a big one. If we can shore up the D thru Juco or player development, we should see a much improved product ont he field next year. Will still be out talented by our big 3 rivals in Fl, Bma and Ga but as seen at LSU anything can happen. I expect 7-5.

Even this year turns out to be a great recruiting class, it won't help us a great deal next year so while our roster numbers will be up, we'll still have quality, experienced depth issues. We'll be better because this year's Frosh and Soph's will be Soph's and Juniors.

I think we can get a better grasp on why Hamilton/Dooley broke the UNC contract and inserted Buffalo at home. I think they saw the writing on the wall with this year's team and didn't want to chance not playing in a bowl in successive seasons. Exchanging a road trip to UNC for a home game vs. Buffalo is a 2 game swing, i.e. 5-7 to 6-6.

7-5 will be perceived as good. Anything better will be great advancement. Anything less will keep the neg-a-vols whining.

My guess is wins over Montana, Buffalo and Vandy. Toss-ups with Cincinnati, Middle Tennessee and Kentucky. Losses to Florida, Georgia, LSU, Alabama, South Carolina and Arkansas.

... 3-9 is the worst, 6-6 is the best, 4-8 is the most likely.

Get a clue.

Seems a lot of people said the same about this year when the folks grounded in reality said 4-8 or 5-7. Well guess what, we're probably not even going to get to 4-8 this season. It's WAAAY too early to be making a lot of predictions about next year, but IMO I don't see any more than 5 winnable games on that schedule right now.
