Looks to be about 5-6 players from Tennessee in the 2011 Top 50. Pretty good for the Volunteer State.

4 kids......the TN players on the list are the top 4 players in the state for 2011

Correct you are.

Hopefully we can keep these guys in-state, and Lane can show he means business when he says he's going to build a fence around the state.

If we can get Heaps, I think we may be sitting pretty to get Williams too. I know they are recruiting both pretty hard right now.

But having followed this extremely gifted athlete for the past four years on the youth football and baseball field at Bunche Park in North Miami-Dade, I can tell you that this is as impressive an athlete as you will find. Maybe as gifted an all-around talent as I have watched since the late 1960s.
'I love this,'' he said after beating Joyner on a 25-yard out pattern. ``To come out here and mix it up with these guys is what my life is all about.''
He more than talks the talk, and that's why people across the country will soon understand that this is Vince Young, Andre Johnson and Ray Ray Armstrong all rolled into one.
''You watch him for a period of time and say that he will make a great receiver after catching a ball one-handed against a top prospect,'' Goetz said. ``Then, the next thing you know he is throwing a 65-yard ball right on the money. The young man has the confidence you never see from a kid his age.''

''I don't see how anyone in the country could be any better than Teddy,'' Clements said. ``Just watch him and you appreciate what a freak of talent he is. This is someone who has speed, great hands, confidence and a knowledge that he is the best. You never find a young guy like this so far ahead of the rest like him. His future is somewhere out in space.''

That's the exact attitude that the old staff had. That's exactly why we have no pull in-state. We wait until the kids are seniors in HS and then try to build relationships with them while our rivals have already been talking to them for 2 years.
